So the next time I go into a 'Greggs' I will insist on the pasties being warm or no vendor.

    I would shop elsewhere TBH

o usually call into the bakers on a morning and the amount of school kids
buying pasties and sausage rolls for their breakfasts is unbelievable.
iwant to stand in the middle of them all and shout "there are pig snouts, testicles, skin, nostils etc in those products"
How anybody can put these things into their bodies hot or cold beggars belief eeuugh

I agree. I went into a bakers a couple of years ago (not Greggs) and bought a pastie. As I was eating it outside something got stuck in my tooth. It turned out to be a heart valve for a pig. I complained and got £5 back to buy more pasties:eek:

Just had a terrible thursday night, And most of today all because 'Greggs' bakers shop staff are 'Lazy' and cannot be bothered to 'Warm Up' their snacks in their shops..

I bought 2 pasties yesterday dinnertime, As usual, But these 2 were 'Stone' cold - I should have said something but what difference would it have made!!

I wouldn't be complaining if their food was cheap, But 2 cold pasties for 1.78!! not the cheapest in town.

I have never understood why anyone would serve 'cold' food to customers, Even dogs let alone.

And the 'Rule oh we can only heat them once' is 'Total' !!!!!!!! in my book, I don't care what the 'Enviro Bods say'

So the next time I go into a 'Greggs' I will insist on the pasties being warm or no vendor.

FOOD HAS TO BE WARM TO HEAT THE BODY.

    COLD FOOD IS FOR PENGUINS!!
You would have had the following options:
    1. you could have just bought them 'cold'
    2. you could have asked them for hot ones
    3. you could have just left the store without buyin...

Right at this moment i would give my left arm to have a ham and pease puddin' stotty cake.

  • When I used to work in the centre of town (Edinburgh) I used to go in very early. One morning I was stopped at traffic lights outside Greggs and watched as a woman carried an armfull of rolls out to the counter. Carrying too many she dropped them over the floor and managed to kick them around a bit as they went everywhere. Then she just picked them up and put the on the counter. I have never bought anything from a Greggs since.
