Is this JUST British / Scottish gas or a govt backed winter fuel payment?

We're with Seeboard energy dual fuel and wife receives DLA.

Unfortunately this is just a British Gas initiative. Actually i was just reading an article in the Mirror about things some of the other companies are offering, but I don't have full details yet.

Powergen Age concern are doing something similiar, at least they knocked off £5.46p orf the last bill (a third of the total) and called it ' Price increase winter discount'. Referred to a letter I never received.
Am thinking of transferring to Equigas, who charge one price to all (inc. pre-payers)

Does anyone know if this would be available to a household where a child is claiming DLA? I don't get Carers Allowance any more since I started work.
