The website is a nightmare! Soon as you put something in and checkout it's gone! Think I'm going to venture into town this afternoon to see what's left!

I bought MIL one of the emergency bars for Christmas (after seeing it on here) as she always says a little bit of chocolate makes her feel better. I tucked it at the back of her Dove hamper. She loved the hamper so much she didn't want to open it, so I had to tell her there was chocolate inside too.

Went round on Sunday and couldn't believe how thrilled she was with it. Kept stroking the packaging and laughing. Said she will have to keep it so show all her friends - bless!

That's so lovely!!! I gave my nan her Xmas/birthday basket last weekend. I felt terrible that her Xmas pressie was so late (she lives about 120 miles from me). She cried her eyes out and said she was so touched to have received such a thoughtful present at her age - 85, soon to be 86! She has promised to fill in her journal using the journal jar questions and I am so looking forward to reading her answers. She then showed me the unopened boxes and boxes of chocolate biscuits that everyone else had bought her.

For the lady who asked if I would pick up some champagne marmite for her, I have been to 3 nettos for you and couldn't see anymore, wether they will have it on again from there or if I spot it somewhere else then I will get some for you, but for now I couldn't sorry :(

Well today is the big day for OH's interview, train tickets were booked a couple of days ago, his dad was picking him up from station tonight as it was late and I wasn't dragging kids out of bed, ... we have both been up since 5am as we are both poorly .... so the interview has been cancelled, as has my shopping!!!

So the plan is to leave OH in bed, take my son to school and hope my daughter perks up a little! then I need to do the housework :(

Sorry to hear you're both poorly, hope you feel much better soon. I've had a bit of a cleaning session this morning so feel entitled to a bit of time off to do what I like. The house is nice and peaceful as DS2 is asleep, going to make a cuppa and surf for a bit :D

Rusty, sorry you and OH are poorly, isn't it always just the way:rolleyes:

Re boots sale, I read on the grabbit board http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1398137&page=150 something to do about getting to checkout and it crashing. Sorry it's not more specific but I was just all confused about it, It's too technical for me. I don't have credit card so don't use the website. It is in posts after 3am this morning.

Not that it helps anyone who is desparately trying to get items and I'm sorry about that but I was at boots at 9am this morning and got some lovely stuff and saved a fortune.
I really do hope you get it sorted and get some lovely things too.

Oh not to worry - thank you so much for trying for me!! Really above & beyond to try 3 Nettos!! Sorry to here you & OH poorly and interview had to be cancelled - has it been rearranged for another day?

Have just been looking on Ebay and am tempted - just get a bit cross with how much they want to charge for postage!!! Can you remind me how much you paid in Nettos - think it was £1.99? Anyway looks like from Ebay the cheapest I might be able to get it for is about £6 or more! Really want it though...
