Have seen Tim Tams & Vegemite in Uk supermarkets but can't remember where??0 -
I did m Dad an Aussie themed stocking for Christmas - put in; Aussie wine, lucky dollar, vegemite, Aussie bodycare stuff, Aussie haircare sachet, Steve Irwin book and a video about Cairns. Think you can get Tim Tams in some Sainsburys?? Also how about a travel journal? I got one for my best friend's wedding (along with matching luggage tags and travel wallet) in Paperchase - they were all 50%/30% off. hth!!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0

I bought 2 sizes of jute bags this year and filled the larger ones with wine, olive oil, olives, chocolate and cake for gifts.
Teh smaller ones were filled with home made cocoa butter melts, candles and lip balmsgone0 -
To all you 'Hamp'sters
on here.................I may have a little tip for you to try next year (sorry if somebody has already mentioned doing this). I've just shredded up all the used wrapping paper we had this Christmas, to use as packing for next years christmas hampers
It looks good because I stuck to gold, red and cream paper this year, so it's not a mish mash of colours
I've also just cut up all the cards to make gift tags, so the ones that are coordinating colours should look pretty cool on them. Just need to think of themes for people now :rolleyes:endemoniada wrote: »Teh smaller ones were filled with home made cocoa butter melts, candles and lip balmsHonorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. savvy - you do sound organised. I've got as far as cutting up my christmas cards to recycle either as cards or tags...........wrapping paper was silver that I used and I'm keeping what was left to re-use this year. Other pressies came in all sorts of different colours.........managed to salvage a bit but not a lot so it went in recycling bin.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
