How cheesy is that
I think he would find that very cheesy not sure wether he would go for it or not to be honest ...
Love the underwear idea .... wonder if I can find a jokey thong or something to match the silver one I put in his stocking :rotfl:
Where would I get rose petals from? I was thinking of littering the basket once finished with some of that confetti that is little hearts etc ... rose petals may be a better idea!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I am thinking of making my OH a chinese food hamper for his birthday. I have seen an electric wok advertised in Lidl and wondered if anyone has ever used one before. Oh loves using his wok so would he be disppointed with an electric one (can you tell I am not the chef in our house!!)?
if I do decide to make it I will def be pinching ideas from your's rainmac:rotfl:
No probs bunbun, pinch awayThe outlaws seemed to like their chinese basket of stuff at xmas but we called in last weekend and the basket was still sitting on their coffee table with all the items in it   Will need some ideas for presents that take no effort for them this year
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Rusty, love your ideas of a red hamper for your OH for Valentines. My OH's birthday is day before Valentines Day and since having kiddies we have tended to not do Valentines pressies at all. Maybe we will this year... If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

any views on the electric wok (don't want to get it if it will be a waste of time/money)

I too think it is a fab idea. I made heart shaped chocs last year so may look at doing a hamper this year ( I knew I should have bought all the heart stuff when it was reduced in Asda last year:rotfl: ).saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Tell me about it but that's typically them I'm afraid . They have a couple of other presents that people have bought for them that are unopened in their living room too. I just think it's a bit rude and ungrateful but maybe that's just me being ultra sensitive.
I don't know anyone who has an electric wok to be honest so can't help with that one, sorry. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Thanks Rainmac ... I just hope I can pull it off .... he doesn't *do* valentines day ... although last year suprised me with a bunch of flowers ... he picked them up from tescos on his way to my house from him working in essex (approx 120 miles at the time) so that was quite sweet bless him... I just like to do a little something ... its very expensive though as his birthday is exactly 1 month and 1 day after christmas then valentines day not long after!!!
Bunbun I have no ideas about the electric woks ... OH has a massive wok which was cheap as chips and he has had it for years ... he says he will never get rid of it as it is so good!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
