Tell me about it but that's typically them I'm afraid . They have a couple of other presents that people have bought for them that are unopened in their living room too. I just think it's a bit rude and ungrateful but maybe that's just me being ultra sensitive.
I don't know anyone who has an electric wok to be honest so can't help with that one, sorry.
I like you think it is rude and ungrateful .... however I am afraid this year I have had so many presents that I too have presents which have been unopened as yet so I can't really comment :rotfl:it's not me being rude or ungrateful it is simply just as I have had so much! sorryRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Yep I agree, I have stuff still in packaging but they didn't get much soI would have thought as they were both at home all over Xmas, New Year and beyond that they would be able to at least get it unpacked! Sorry, I sound bitter and twisted I know...You and me have little kiddies to look after so that's our excuse

Rusty, thought of another - a single Rolo in a little red box. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

For red glasses - they had pairs of large wine glasses in TJ Hughes yesterday for £5 - I didn't look properly as had only nipped in to buy a new kettle but think they had some with red stems.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I am a bit disheartened, been to my grans today and while she said she liked my hamper, she kept going on about how good every ones else present was. She was saying how they have made an effort but liked mine better as I choose it but I could tell she was just being nice.
I tried to tell her that I was making her a special hamper for her 70th but instead of giving me ideas as I was hoping she might. She just went on and on about how her Paddy and Craig are planning something. This is her too sons and all she went on about today she did not seem that interested in me. Yet I am the person that makes all the effort all year round not just on special occasions.
Sorry moan over, right Question?
Would it be mega sad if I made myself a Valentines hamper, just something to keep my mind happy. I am not a lover of valentines day as I have been a single mum from the start. I was thinking of buying a little thing each week, for a night in type thing, pamper in the bath for when my little one is in bed. A nice hot soak with some fav choc's (would this be unhygenic to eat choc in the bath room so close to the bog) Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

Hmmm thankyou for all the above suggestions ... however this single rolo in a box would be daft as I did this last year for him ... I ate the rest of the rolo's with my son and very nice they were tooRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
