This is the last pic! My mum with some of the hampers on Christmas day. The one at the bottom is for my cousin from my Grandma. My cousin wanted several DVD's, so I jazzed it up a bit by adding some popcorn, sweets and a can of drink and making it into a hamper.

I'm off to get some lunch now. My eyes feel odd from wearing my glasses (first time!), but I wanted to get the pics up on here before I forgot about them.
Thanks to everyone on here who has helped me and given me loads of inspiration! You're all amazing! Happy new year to you all!!!:kisses3:

Esther - if you look on the Gifts in a Jar thread it'll explain it better than I can and there's some piccys as well.
Its basically a jar filled with questions to the receipient, and a Journal where they can answer the questions.
I did one for my friend and it will build up into a sort of life history that she can pass on to her grandchildren.
Have a look on the thread and there are some good examples

Thanks to the poster that suggested a CD for my gran, I found one on Ebay with music from the year she was born. I did want to get her a newpaper from 1939 but all the sites cost way too much. I have found one site that does front covers only, but these are greetings cards.
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.

How about one of the books that are around now 'Make do and mend' -stuff like that. I think Past Times sell them but not sure of the price and you might find them cheaper elsewhere.
