Anyone *NOT* got their Icesave/FSCS email?

I'm with Eclipse - nothing received and no luck with icesave@ either. I have an outstanding call my ISP asking if their Spam filtering system (Ironport) is trashing fscs emails. Trying to call fscs and been queuing for 20 mins....Take a look at Senderbase.org who rate the reputation of fscs.org.uk as 'neutral', which means some ISPs will treat fscs email as spam. Yes they do!0

Do what I did and use a webmail account ( or set one up) such as hotmail or googlemail. then change your regsitered address with Icesave! see the above posts. It works!!:T"Serious money saving Diva"........................................:p

I have £98000 at stake, a half built house, electricians, plumbers and roofers pressing for payment.........
Thanks to whoever mentioned "spam"!
I had not received the email. I sent the blank requested - no response. I rang the 0845 number waited 20 minutes but they were too busy. Then I thought "let's see what the money saving experts" are saying today....
I logged into my Eclipse ISP user settings page and swithched off the Spam Filter and I now have the email (rec'd. 13.08) My spam filter remains switched off until I get the 2nd email, then it goes on again.
It is interesting that my Mailwasher correctly saw nothing to complain about so are FSCS using a mailing agency with a known record as someone else has suggested?
I have to say I have no complaints whatever about Eclipse's Spam Filter because it has successfully shielded me from an average (up to about a year ago) of 150 invitation to buy Viagra etc. per day0 -

Yep, my Mum is with Eclipse and had the same problems as you. We gave up and changed email address on icesave - setting up another one on Google is a 5 minute job, changing icesave's is 1 minute. I have a slight concern how FSCS will handle two emails from a customer from different addresses (I'm sure they received the first), but I thought this strategy the lesser of two evils.0 -
Had problems with Talktalk as well. Still haven't received the first e-mail.
Tried contacting FSCS, after hours of being on hold, told it was my ISP Talktalk preventing me from receiving anything from fscs - reply etc, was trying to contact them
using icesave@fscs.org.uk to generate an automatic response, tried several times yeterday and again this morning - no joy. Contacted Talktalk 2nd line problem solvers
after explaining the problem and suggesting they put fscs.org.uk on their white list to
prevent and filtering, they said they would look into the problem , and for me to try again on Monday. Spent all day trying to resolve this problem but to no effect so far.
Tried my own spam filters - still no good.0 -

Sometimes what happens is that people sign up to forums etc just to read an article then forget all about it, when they get emails some months later they might report it as spam (some isp's let you do this) the trouble is that if the address gets reported a certain number of times the ISP will block the address as spam which then denies all legitimate users of that particular forum from receiving their email messages pertaining to it.
I do agree however that the FSCS could have used a 'better' service for sending out emails.
Spam is a confounded pain the the posterior!:mad:0 -

You should have used the 020 number mentioned in this thread and on the FSCS's website. There was almost no delay getting through on that if you selected Option 4.
0845 lines are always set up to make you queue because the telecoms companies running them take a huge revenue share for every minute people spend queuing.:mad:0 -
Why not do what others are doing?
See Susie's message at post 314 in this thread.
