I've held off phoning them at all, but I may just do so tomorrow afternoon, just to be sure I've replyed to the right email!
I do feel sorry for the staff at FSCS though as I'm sure they are taking a load of flack.0 -
Logged onto my icesave account (and the wife's) and the accounts have an initate button alongside each one - has anyone tried clicking this ?0

me 2 I have not had repsonse! sent 2 now and now response, my nerves are shattered!!
1. Bear in mind that....emails are not guaranteed to get to their destination. Thats a fact. A number of them get lost. For that reason, I* am surprised that FSCS actually decided to use them.
2. Although most emails get to their destination almost instantaneously, this is by no means guaranteed. A certain proportion take much longer to get there.
In your case (as well as mine), we should phone in tomorrow to ensure FSCS are informed that the first email has not been received, unless it turns up by tomorrow.
Hope this helps. Failing that, take a stiff drink. I am just about to do so. Gin and T for me.....Illegitimi non carborundum

Best to leave it alone. Someone in another thread here has reported that doing so locks up your account, and then you have to phone in etc........potential for a whole load of complications....best wait till the second email arrives..........Illegitimi non carborundum
