    I don't think it matters, I sent the first one and when I replied to the response I deleted everything including the subject, so promptly got another response asking for a blank email, left the subject this time and didn't get a response which I think is the desired effect.

    As long as they can validate your email address with the online account, I think it will be fine.

    I'm with Eclipse Internet which is normally pretty reliable. I tried a test email to myself from an email address I've never used before and that came straight through - just to check for any spam filtering.

  • Just sent my email and got an instant response so sent them a blank email as requested.

    I'm just hoping that when i can login to get my money back all my accounts will be in one place. I had two logins as my ISa was under a different usernmae, thats how Icesave set it up. GRRRR.

    Yup, I've tripled checked that! It is showing on my account in capitals though, but previous posters thought that wouldn't matter.

    I'm tired of pressing my 'check email' button now and am going to call it a night! I'll get up all refreshed to call FSCS in tomorrow.
