    Hi Suesie999.... both myself and my wife are the same as you, we have sent 3 emails now with no reply, we are with pipex and NOT Talk Talk, if thats any help

    Anyone know for sure which number to call, I've seen two or three in the papers/on this forum/ on other sites?

  • Hope the following is of help. I am with Plusnet ISP and have the spam filter deactivated assuming all email would arrive via my email client. This not the case. Spam is still caught at the ISP end and if the spam filter is not activated will never be seen. Activated the spam filter yesterday which created a spam folder and found numerous spam emails including the first email from FSCS which was sent on Wednesday. Not sure if this the case with all ISPs but it certainly is with Plusnet.

    How can I do this? Still no email!! I am off to gym now then intending to call FSCS at 9am, If you can tell me how I do what you have done it woudl help me, thanks x:o

    Anything on talktalk ISP? I have accessed the spam folder via webmail whichi is empty and there is nothing in the settigns where I can swithc anything off. If any one can help please let me know x ;)

    The following is from the FSCS website:

    Any Icesave customers who do not receive their first email from FSCS by the close of business on Friday 7th November should contact FSCS on 0845 7300 131 (Icesave enquiries only). This line is open between 9am until 5pm on Saturday 8th November, and 10am until 4pm on Sunday 9th November.

    No email for me or the wife we are on talk talk - guess it's now the phone - I'm feeling really p****ed off !!!
  • I sent an email to the FSCS last night but still nothing back and the automated telephone has just this minute told me to try again later as all lines are busy.I am on Talktalk and I see that Icesave have my email address in capitals whereas it should be lower case.Nothing in my spam either.Getting frustrated now but am going out so will try the phone again this afternoon before the 5pm deadline.
