Anyone *NOT* got their Icesave/FSCS email?

I phoned the helpline at 4:20 and they said the last batch has been delayed. The deadline for getting this email is now late tonight.

If you don't get it by tomorrow morning you can phone over the weekend:
Sat 9 - 5
Sun 10 - 4

Apparently they are sending out the emails slowly as each batch generates a lot of phone calls and they can only handle so many at the call center.

Also some emails have been delayed as they have bounced back. A bit worrying that but as long as all account holders are expecting the arrival of the email there shouldn't be a problem.

I did ask if the second emails will be sent out in the same order as the first emails but needless to say the call center staff don't know. .
It's reassuring to know that others are still waiting.:hello:

Did not get mine, my wife has not got hers either.
just like Kaupthing Edge all over again !
Rang FSCS 17:25.... got through and they said Ring Back Monday if nothing received by then, he suggested that we phone back on this number 0845 7300 131 and then choose option 2.

I don't have mine yet, just sent an email to [EMAIL="Icesave@fscs.org.uk"]Icesave@fscs.org.uk[/EMAIL] as per the update.

I wouldn't worry, I can now log on the the Icesave site and the Initiate button is there next to my account, if I don't get the e-mail it just means I'll be trying everyday until it works.


Ooh - Just had the first email by reply within a minute!

Ooh again - Just had the same again, this time with an extra line at the top:
"Please send a blank reply to this message to confirm you have received it. This is very important because it will allow us to double check your email address on the system."

Co-incidence of the year if the first one I got was the original unprompted email just seconds after I emailed them!

Yes I have just done it, received a response and then clicked reply to acknowledge I'd received it!

Do you know what is worrying me now?
What is to stop anyone who hasn't got an Icesave account, spamming the FSCS site and clogging up the system?
