Glad, I don't know if it's any good for you but you mentioned getting a decorator. I love decorating but can't do it anymore so I persuaded DH that we needed one of those Dulux Paint Pod machines, well when I say persuaded I mean insisted and I paid lol.
Anyway DH is useless at painting but he has just done a ceiling and walls and he was very impressed with the gadget thingy. It even cleans itself, wish the dog did!
They were on offer at B&Q last week £34 which is cheaper than a decorator. Only snag I can see is you have to finish off the edges but I might manage that. HTH
Thankyou
that's a really good price, all the rooms in the house have painted walls, no paper, so this could be a good investment, I don't mind painting but never seem to find the time and the edges above the stairs look tricky, but I think I'll go buy a pod and give it a go

Hi again :hello:
I'm archiving some more videotapes onto DVD - been meaning to do it for ages and bought a DVD recorder off a mate for £25 but never got round to working out how to use it until I promised to send things to redruby
I just need to keep it up at a steady pace, because getting rid of my VHS tapes will free up soooo much space...
How'd you get on with Rigoletto redruby?
Re: storecupboard challenge - yes, there is a very old generic thread about it, but it is very old. I hope the board guides will be amenable to a new thread (though it would be VERY helpful if we had a link in the first post to the old one
)
VickyA - I hope it's good news for your mum tomorrow - and I'm sorry your pupil's ill ((hugs)) Just to add a bit of good news: my friend, who's in her 60s and has been battling cancer since early this year with pretty bleak prospects, has had good news today re her prognosis :j :j I need to be nosey and ask, cos all I know so far is what she and her daughter have each posted on Facebook.
Right, off to make that curry.
Rzl xx

LearningToSave, Surely it's up to people who are doing a store cupboard challenge to keep the thread going?
thriftlady, I see you've already posted on the storecupboard challenge thread...I think I need to join you as I'd love to run my freezers and cupboards down before Christmas.
I had a quiet day at home. I did a bit of housework and some tidying. We had a casserole for tea and there should be enough left over for lunch flasks tomorrow. Someone reminded me about fifteens last night so I'm going to try to make some tomorrow.
Hope you all have a good evening,

I loved it :T , did not get chance to watch it all because I have to go on the school run, but watched most of the first disk, it was quite saucy
, and it was nice to have the subtiltles so that I knew what was going on. Will have to wait till the others go out before I can watch it the next one, as they don't like it  . Cant wait to watch the next one.
Vicki, good luck for your mum tomorrow, and I hope the little boy recovers soon xx0 -
Oh yes, I forgot to warn you about the full frontal male nudity :rotfl: I'm afraid once you've got past the first scene there isn't any moreI loved it :T , did not get chance to watch it all because I have to go on the school run, but watched most of the first disk, it was quite saucy
