Nothing much more to add really, walked twice so far this week so thats good. Still havent brought a ticket for this month. I have three journeys left from last month and I am hoping I can get away with not buying one this month :D I have also recieved £20 from mum that I lent her a few months ago. I think I will be using that to get some new shoes. I have my crocs, work shoes and also a pair of skater trainers (that have lasted 7 years). I love walking in my crocs but due to the holes they fill with stones, and alas as I found out today so does the skater trainers (as they are to big iyswim). So I am after some more tight fitting shoes/trainers. I am hoping I can get some reall cheap ones somewhere :T

Other than that I am still plodding :j Hope everyone is having a great week.

Yes, Pap - stop 'lurking' and get back to the 'plodding'. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok so diary stuffs... Managed two days walking this week not the three as promised. I could have done it but I ran out of my pre-made shakes this week so wouldnt of had food untill 3pm today :o Didnt want to chance it so I did get the bus home today. Going to plan two or three again next week. I have 2 more journeys left and I am determind not to buy a bus ticket this month :rotfl: Also I havent spent my £5 weekly money so thats fabby :j Nothing much more too add really, just plodding :j
  • Hi all, so this is the fourth time I have written this in so many days  this time I will post it. So everything has gone a bit upside down in the last week. Some good things and some bad, so here goes....

I didnt walk home at all this week, I could of but I was fed up of 'losing' 1.5 hours a day. This is because I cant do anything very productive in that time. So I used the bus 3 times. I have now added an extra amount into the budget for more journeys. I have also had to go out and buy some new clothes. I was putting it off and still wearing my old trousers, but that isnt possible anymore. So I went to asda and brought 2 trousers, 8 knickers, 7 socks, slippers, ladies items, packing tape and brown paper for £37. Its something I would have liked to have avoided this month but alas I couldnt as my trousers were all falling down. This is £17 over what I had spare so I have had to take it out of my holiday spends just now

Now onto the biggy... As Mum likes to start here xmas shopping around now she did the whole 'what do you want for xmas' talk. Now I dont like these anyways as I would rather just have a lovely holiday with her each year and forget about xmas. Anyway so of course I just commented that I would love some spare money to buy a new ipod. Then I decided to have a look and see the prices etc and after having a bad week at work (which is still ongoing) one thing led to the other and I purchased it on 0%. So I have now organised a challenge on the main DFW board and I will clear this in 100 days :j Its a huge step backwards but to be honest I am not all that bothered

So budget wise I am cool, I am selling loads on ebay just now but thankfully Mum will sub me the postage untill the money clears from paypal into my current account. Hopefully this will kick start my repayment of the 0% money.

So yeah that me... Hope you are all having a great bank holiday weekend :j

    Keep Plodding
  • Hi Pap, you sound like you're doing really well. I know how you feel about walking feeling like it is just taking up time, I drive soooo much :embarasse but sometimes the walk itself is a nice way to spend time :) I am trying to use my car less as I just can't afford it.

Going back a bit but about your May holiday, why not combine that and go to London with your mum as your holiday?

    :T :T :T :T :T :T at your sig! You're amazing Pap, really :)
