Babes ~ Glad you are ok, I hope you have a fab time away and enjoy the sunshine
Sorry you have had a crappy time these past few weeks and relationship break-ups are the worse. I hope you come back from your holiday refreshed and ready to tackle the world :j hope to see you around a bit more
Little update from me. So its around 4 days since update and all but a few bills have been paid. I have however brought a few things this month, mainly two books. One of which 'how I lived on a £1 a day for a year' I have been wanting for ages. I also took advantage of a fab offer through Asda and got some new clothes. I did need some because although I dont mind hanging around here in clothes which are approx 2 sizes too big I didnt want to go to Weymouth looking like a sack of spuds :rotfl: So all in all I dont think I have done too badly. I have also already put £30 into savings :j So that leaves £124 untill payday. I dont need anything for my trip now as the train tickets are brought and I will still be on CD so no food etc. So thats it for the month, I will need a top up of £10 but other than that I am done :j So I am still on for my savings target this month and overall I am very happy. I will get to my first savings target and I cant wait

Thanks Rog, I think everything takes dedication and plodding well we all do that :j
So I thought I would update. Some of the Asda stuff went back as it either looked awfull or it was too bigSo that was cool. I have also indulged a bit, basically we had to get some grout for the bathroom (we had a new bath fitted but we had to add some tiles) so while I was in B&Q I thought I would look at some new wallpaper for my room so maybe after xmas I could re decorate. Well the mse in me routed around the reduced stuff and I found some wallpaper that was £22 a roll down to £4 :j So I brought that and some cheep lining paper. Then I just have to buy a pot of cream paint and I can redecorate my room for less than £20 :T
Also I have finished the '£1 a day book' I brought, I must say it was fanatstic. More so because unkown to me but the autor was actually based in Bristol while completing her challenge. I knew all what she was refering to which was fabby. I would love to atempt the same challenge but on CD it will not be possible. However it got me thinking about how much i spend without thinking. I mean I didnt really need new clothes as I could have taken in the clothes I have here. I didnt need to buy wallpaper as apart from a bit of wear there is nothing wrong with what I have now. So I have a plan....
Everytime I spend, whatever I buy I will have to pay 50% of the final price into my savings too. So for instance if I buy a new ds game for £5 I will have to put £2.50 into my savings account. That means a game that would have been 'cheap' is indeed a bit more expensive. Using this I aim to kill two birds with one stone ~ build up my savings and look again at what I spend. The only things this doesnt apply to is my main outgoings ~ rent, house insurance, CD, bus ticket, television, internet and stamping up. Plus anything huge so for instance holidays/xmas gifts etc etc and savings. So thats my plan and I will be updating my diary each time I spend and put my savings across. I will start as of tomorow and see how I go :T
Hope everyone if well and still plodding0 -

Indeed Rog! Luckly me and Mum are off the first week in August so we are going to attack my room then. Mum wallpapered my room years ago and she is super speedy so I cant see it taking long tbh. I am going to be lazy and paper over the paper I have here, saves stripping and buying extra lining paper :rotfl: Cant wait for it to be done though, although I love what I have now (cream walls and circle cut from pink/purple wallpaper on one and a bit walls) I actually designed it when I was 18 so its a bit teenbopTime to go more adult now
It will keep me out of trouble for a few days though :T

Beanie, I dont know sometimes but I wish I had more. I have been working late this past week but the mornings has just passed me by  Anyways...
Not much happening, more savings been added but thats about all. So far on my new 50% savings incentive I have only spent 40p on 2 cups of tea... So thats 20p. I have decided to list everything I spend and then make one payment every saturday to my savings. That makes things easier and it doesnt get muddled with mu PaD's.
So thats me for a few more days :j0
