DD ~ Hello :hello: hope you are well, havent seen you online for ages. I agree a nice walk is lovely, it give you time to relect ect etc however when you have to do it to save money it a bit pants :rolleyes: I will try though. Thanks for your suggestion about May holiday, I did think about it but I wanted it to be something I did alone, but I think I will have to compromise and go with Mum. That is unless I wait untill after my 25th birthday ie before I turn 26? I will have to decide in a few months I guess :cool:
:kisses3: Thanks... So how are you? And your small one? Feeling more positive lately
Beanie ~ Thanks, it went ok. I dont think I will have the same relationship as I did with my other person. So I fear I am just going to use this as a buy supplies type thing. No worrys though
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So today is payday, although to be honest I am not jumping up and down with joy :rolleyes: Got payed just shy of £500, so not mega but I know this will be my pay from now on in. However I did get some of my ebay sales money through so thats payed off some of the debt as mentioned above. I also had a small pot left from last month due to other eaby sales. So all in all after paying everything and budgetting for everything essential this month I have left £100. This will be used to send my next lot of sales on ebay and also anything remaining will be used against my debt. I havent budgetted for any personal spends this month as I want to keep them at a minimum.
So thats me, next month (after payday) I am off on holiday. I have budgetted £100 into my soa for that. However I am hoping to try and increase that a little as I will have to purchase some food (I will be stepping up a plan on CD) for down there. I guess the food will cost about £20/£30 for the week. Anyways we shall see...
Have a loveley week all and keep plodding :j0 -
Hi all, thought I would do a mini update for you all and loads of ramballings...
Not much is happening to be honest. I have payed off all debt that would have had interest applied (after the welcome period) so as it stand I have £373.62 on 0%. These come to an end 1st March 2010, but obviously I would like to get these cleared as soon as possible. I am aiming to have these cleared by the begining of December. I have also reduce my avalible credit on my credit card. I opened a new credit card with my bank about 3/4 months ago now because I wanted to order something online and I wasnt sure about the company. Obviously I would have used my debit card but I just felt uneasy, so I got a cerdit card, the interest rate is very very good considering but they gave me a cradit limit which is just over half my annual salary :eek: I was going to close it but decided to just ask them to reduce the limit. So the lowest I could get was £300 and I am happy with that. Anyways its payed if full everymonth not that I ever use it :rolleyes:
So as I stand today I have £167.76 'floating' in my accounts ie not for bills/CD. I say its floating because it will be heading towards my debt... however I have a bundle of ebay items finishing tonight so I will use some of that money for postage and then everything transferred from paypal in a week or so time will go towards the debt.
I now have £80 in my isa for my holiday, plus maybe the £100 left next payday. The problem I have is my isa is in the process of being transferred from Halifax to my main provider. This is because a) Its a better interest rate b) Transfers into and out of it are instant and c) I will be using it as a stop gap for money (ie holidays/christmas/savings) and its a better interest rate than a normal account. I have been told it could take up to 3 weeks to transfer across and I started it last Monday so fingers crossed the money arrives on time as its still sitting with Halifax :rolleyes:
Not much else is happening really brought a few things from the second set of ebay auctions including xmas gifts, a winter coat and a new top for work. However it was all stuff that was needed. The xmas gift retails at £14 but i got if from ebay for £3 with postage and I have never had a winter coat because I have used the same denim jacket (over a hoodie type jacket) for about 8 years now, obviously its way too big now :mad:
The only thing I havnt budgetted for this month is my next Momiji doll. I think I will either hit my target this week or next. That then means that I have to take the money from the 'floating' money. Yes it would be more sensible to pay off the debt but the debt is 0% and I promised myself these 'goal' dolls from day one so will get it never the less....
But thats me, not overly exciting eh :rotfl: Just keep on plodding :j0 -
