16/11/12 - Moved to our forever home for £427k, mortgage of £270,999
MFIT-T3 #2 - Reduce (new) mortgage from £270k to £225k whilst renovating and with our first baby on the way! £265,654.56 so far0 -
Have just amended my signature to show the regular monthly payment. We are on target to be down to 20k by Christmas, but because of DD2's wedding and needing to support DD1 studying abroad we haven't been able to put anything by on top of our normal OPs, so paying off the total by July 2010 looks less likely than it once did.
However, after Christmas I am going to have a really big review of expenditure and see if we can save any more anywhere. We will pay it all off by the end of next year - I am determined!
Well done everyone on progress so far. The end is in sight!

So sorry I'm late, Number 241 reporting in....
Only managed £264.07 overpayment for October, big house spends so very little to overpay with.
Still, we're on target to have the mortgage down to £95K for the start of the MFi3 T2 challenge, so that's good.
Keep up the good work everyone.

Update from #233 - November's overpayment of £200 is in, bringing me to £2,450 for the year so far. Looks like I'm not hitting my target, but given all the stuff that's happened lately I'm lucky not to have had to pull some of the overpayments back out.
Weight loss is back in full flow, with 8 lbs lost in 5 weeks (actually 4 weeks, with no loss in week 5). Hoping to have lost 20 lbs total by Christmas.0 -
Hi,
just reporting in our latest position for November, made regular payment plus £400 OP which leaves our balance at just over £117,000.
We should end this challenge at £30,000 below the figure we thought our balance to be last December.
Good luck to everyone one with the continuing journey and thanks for your encouragement and support.RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004
