Grrr - just got my first less than 5 feedback. I got a 3 with the comment that the book was perhaps a little overpriced! Why buy it then?! I described it fully, warts and all and had it at the lowest price. Some people...

I've had a 3 rating as well. The comment was a positive one 'Fast delivery' so I can't understand the rating!

As I have only had 4 ratings, this one poor rating has reduced my feedback score to 75%!!!!! Am not a happy bunny. :(
  • Can you email the buyer and ask them why if they were pleased with the delivery time they couldn't have left you better feedback? They may not realise how badly it affects your feedback score.

TBH I don't know what my feedback is cos I never look!!!

Sales are still slowish for me although I have sold a couple of quite pricey vinyl LPs and a text book which have bumped up the quota. :D

I've tried that. No response from an email I sent on Thursday though. :(

I've still sold a couple of items since I had that feedback, so hopefully people aren't that bothered about seller feedback.

On a better note, I've just sold a CD to someone who lives about half a mile away. DH can pop round with on his bicycle tomorow!

i just swapped with a readit swapit person

he lives about a mile from here

i was commenting to dh that i thought i should just pop down with the book and it was shame i couldn't email to tell him to perhaps meet so we could swap that way

took dd to swimming today, came back and found out the guy had dropped the book off :p

unfortunately dh didn't think to ask him which book i was supposed to give him so now i still have to pop round to his house!

When I sold vinyl on ebay it never did much but have sold a couple of my old LPs on Amazon, that when I looked had none on, so put a good price for them and went on about them being hard to find(...on Amazon anyway ;) ). I have a few on and so far am pleased with the results!!!

Both recent sales were around £30 and were White Zombie's first album and an album by Front 242 which I actually bought in Prague(the band were from there) so was different to a UK version. Have never tried any mainstream vinyl...probably sells for a penny...like the books, I think the watchword is "stick to the weird and wacky" :D

  • :T I HAVE JUST SOLD A CASSETTE TAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :T

After talking about the vinyl, i was just thinking about this crappy tape I had put on for sale...half an hour later checked email only to find...I have sold it!!!!! It's a REALLY cheesy 80's Glam rock tape but when I looked it said it was a deleted title so I put it on for a few quid never DREAMING it'd sell :D
