That's me too, mine's a few days after Christmas...my knees are inclined to be "dodgy" but, one good Capricorn trait though which I've noticed is that they tend to get "younger" as they get older. I always was a very serious child, never wanting to go against authority etc but now I feel like growing old disgracefully!

i couldn't agree with you more! i was an only child so was essentially brought up as a small adult... now i'm having my childhood again.... christmas and halloween are really fun at our house, what with me like this, dd is 4 and i swear dh is an eternal teenager :rotfl:

If you get annoyed at the Amazon sellers forum you should try the Terry Pratchett forum on the website run by Harper Collins. There are fools on there seemingly only reading the books to report alleged spelling and grammar mistakes to other saddoes!!!

I've just had a result on Amazon.

2 videos bought from a pound shop have sold in the past 24 hours, one for £5 and one for £6.50! Both though are still sealed and have been lurking around in my cupboard for several months. So the trick appears to be buy them and put them away, and list them later when the current stock in the pound shops has gone.

i managed to sell a video tonight that is really old and very obscure! didn't think videos would sell at all but thought i'd give it a shot. now amazon will take more than half  and after my postage i'll probably only make a quid but it's nice to know i might be able to sell some of these off as we don't have a car so i can't do a boot sale

has anyone tried selling anything on bootbay? http://www.bootbay.co.uk/

i kinda thought it might be a good place to sell off old videos and those popular books that aren't worth that much on amazon etc...

    Morning all,

I wonder if some of the regulars would have a look at my thread I started, for an answer to my question

    Many Thanks
  • I think deleted videos are perhaps good sold on ebay...Amazon really don't make videos worth selling at all!!!

Someone once told me a website where you could find out whether a title was deleted and how much it was worth but I could never find it...they were after Moomins videos which were deleted and selling on ebay for over £30!!!

Although the Amazon fees are pretty steep, I still did very nicely out of the two videos I sold recently, both were originally from the £1 shop.
