postingalwaysposting is 31st dec - I've been looking at the calendar at the top of the page - I think that it could be called a work avoidance scheme
HOLsale I'm totally non techie but my spreadsheet adds columns up by typing in -
=sum(a1:a20) meaning that I'm telling it to add column 'a' lines 1 to 20 or whatever0 -

ooh and i thought it was bad having my birthday 2.5 weeks past christmas...
your description sounds a lot like me as well hadn't heard that about the knees but it's definately a problem with me :-(founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
botherations - just got a feedback from someone - 1 out of 5 - all because they bought a dvd off me, and when i came to pack it, i discovered the disc was missing - turned the house up and down but couldnt find it - so refunded them with apologies
they basically said "didnt have item to sell" - when i sent them a message saying sorry, had mislaid disc but didnt want to delay their purchase
of course i have since found the disc (small child - likes to play hide discs and find them later when you least expect it)
is this likely to affect my sales? i have 3 5 out of 5's before that tho - can i reply to their feedback?
now all dvds for sale are placed as far out of reach as is possible (tho children always seem to find a way)See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
When I'm buying on amazon marketplace I rarely check out the feedback, I tend to buy from the cheapest seller in the UK who has the item in a condition acceptable to me.

That's pain!
You can reply, go to your seller account page, then the page where your feedback is, then you'll see 'leave feedback on your own account'0 -

That's me too, mine's a few days after Christmas...my knees are inclined to be "dodgy" but, one good Capricorn trait though which I've noticed is that they tend to get "younger" as they get older.0 -
Whilst we're talking about feedback - I've now got three comments. The latest one says 'Quick, problem-free delivery' but has only given me 4 out of 5.
Like Soolin says, I don't think buyers will pay that much attention to feedback ratings and will be more interested in competitive pricing.0 -

I sold something the other week - cheap novel, where I wasn't the cheapest, although admittedly there was only pence in it (I think), I was third cheapest. All conditions were listed the same (very good, or good). I have no idea why they picked my book, but can only assume it is because I am still clinging onto my 100% feedback (waiting for the first not good one!) - the other two sellers were high 90s.
Probably most people don't take it into account, or perhaps it depends on how much someone is spending. I always take a nosy at the feedback comments, so I wouldn't make a decision exclusively on the percentage.
Seabiscuit - can you not relist the item, and tell the buyer you have found the disc, if they still want it - explain what happened (well, perhaps not mention sticky fingered little people, but perhaps blame it on someone else!!) and perhaps ask them to retract it as it was a genuine mistake, and you didn't want to hold them up with their purchase??AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0024 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -
