Hmmm, don't think so as I'm testing the water a bit re price. The book seems pretty collectable - historical and signed - and I've had an idea of value from a dealer who said £100 "or maybe even more". Will list at a slightly higher price than they suggested and wait for a while to see what happens.

If I sold on ebay, I'd have to put a reserve price in and then if it didn't sell I'd have to pay fees and stuff anyway. And not sure what sort of reserve to put.

Just wanted to make sure that it got as much US coverage as possible as the dealer reckoned that it would be more sought after there.

Good luck with the book. Perhaps listing it on Amazon and highlighting in your blurb that you deliver to the USA is a good idea.

Re Americans selling on Amazon.co.uk: it is a subject that continues to vex those who post regularly on the Seller Connections board there - very frustrating.

In the last week I have had two pending sales that have actually come good. One went through 2 days after the pending email and the second about 12 hours. I guess it means I’d better wait the full 2 days before relisting or at least email the potential buyer.

Had just read this and the email went and AAARRRGGGHHH I have one too.

Have had 2 in the past month and both went through ok after I emailed the buyer.

BTW Kaminari, it's 3 days you have to wait - even worse. What a complete pain. It was a £10 book too.

Oh well.

Grrrrrrrrr and now I've just spotted that I've had my first person who didn't give me 5 stars!!! What a git!!!!

He's put "excellent seller, very happy, fast delivery" and only 4 stars.

It was a once watched DVD that he received within 48 hours of purchase. What more can you do for goodness sake? Watch it for him??

I still show has having 5 stars and rated 5.0 out of 5 so don't suppose it matters, but bloody annoying all the same.

If you haven't had a rating by a buyer it will say 'I'm a newbie' or similar (I can't remember the exact words) by your name when you get rated for the first time you get stars - hopefully 5 stars!

I've had no sales at all this week after 3 last - most things are on for lowest price too - but I might have a look through everything again in a minute just to check.

Put a couple of things on ebay last night and think I'll try and get some other stuff sort out to put on - need to try and get some more money together for wedding rings as I'd really like to use money other than from salaries.

Anyway, with amazon you never know - might get a sale tomorrow - here's hoping :j

If it's any consolation Yorkielass, my sales have tailed right off this week too, although the swaps are flying out of the door at the moment.
