Great idea leaving your wallet in the desk at work - no chance of falling off the band wagon then! Only £127.00 to go and you will be out of the 4s and into the 3s - that will be a real buzz!

Yeah, it was a cheap weekend skysky! Will have to try it more often!
Can't wait to get it under £4,000 - will feel like a big step down for us, it hasn't been under that for ages. :o

Another two items sold on Amazon over the weekend, making a total of £5.57.
So that leaves the credit card balance now at £4120.78 - going to try our best to get rid of the £120.70 before the month's up! :D
No bids on the ebay items I listed on Saturday yet, but 8 people are watching 1 item and 3 are watching the other so hopefully will have some bids. Someone sent me a message yesterday 'suggesting' I sell them one item for less than half it's worth INCLUDING postage, worded quite rudely, naturally I declined their offer!

Do you include the postage costs or just the actual amount that things sold for.

I had some of my items finish last night - excluding postage £42.00! :j I have got to have the caravan serviced before we use it this year which is going to cost £208.00  so that will probably go towards that I think. I have also had my court costs cheque come in £42.50, well worth going to hear the little twit plead guilty! And with my new mobile, I have got a £50.00 topshop voucher which I will put on fleabay when I get it.

It was my birthday on Saturday and my mommy bought me a slow cooker! :T I also had £120.00 in cash from my dad, grandparents etc. I will actually buy myself something I think though as they will all ask me what I have bought and that would lead to opening a can of worms if I tell them that I used it pay off my credit card - I haven't told any of my family about my probs :o

I am really hoping you get into the 3s this month - for me that is a long time off!!!!

Sounds like things are starting to look up for you skysky :j Well done on the ebaying, that's a great total, you should get a bit for the voucher too, so youll prob be nearly halfway there on the caravan service. :j

    Happy birthday for Saturday! :bdaycake:
We have a slow cooker too - we have real hits and misses with it. I find meat cooks wonderfully in there, like a joint or a whole chicken etc, but we now skip the potatoes in there as they go a bit rubbery or don't cook too well at all.
    Good luck with the experimenting!
And yes, make sure you buy yourself something lovely with your birthday money - we learnt the hard way that you have to treat yourself now and then otherwise you go crazy!

Thanks for the encouragement - I have about £30 in my paypal account and hopefully the other two items should make another £30 at least, so that'll be £60 towards getting to 'the 3's'!

As for Amazon - yes, I include the postage amount in it too - as they don't usually cost that much to post. It doesn't work out to much per cd and dvd (if there's loads of them on there) but I figure it's more than the quid or so we'd get at a boot sale. I don't list them on Amazon if the selling price is less than £1.50 - £2. The books go for more - I've made sales of about £3.50 - £25 on individual books. I've run out of books to sell now though - I can part with no more!

Just popped into work to get my wages and the other 3 managers put together and got me a £15.00 next voucher! :T I really have been spoilt. Thinking about it I have also got a voucher for £30.00 for Next from Christmas so I have £45.00 to spend in next. Not going to spend it just yet as I am planning on losing that extra little half a stone yet (not that I have tried these past couple of weeks!) My nan bless her bought me a big box of ferro rocher (sp?) so I have been munching on those today!

Finding it very hard to get motivated today. I could quite easily sit and spend the day on MSE!

That's lovely of your colleagues - it will be a lovely incentive to lose those extra few lbs. I need to lose 3 stone to be happy with myself, but it's not going great at the moment... :o
Yup - I'm struggling today too, would like to be at home now!

The free boiler care that came with our house expires this week :( so I've just signed an extra £17 a month away to British Gas to cover the boiler & central heating. BUT I went through Quidco and got £40 cashback for doing so. :cheesy:

We've had over £300 cashback from Quidco since joining in October, I think it's brilliant!

Well another 3 steps forward and 4 back. I have just noticed some nice kind person has put a nice big scratch in my bonet - thank you very much! I have just tried to polish it out, but its a deep one - the husband will not be happy (nothing new there! :rotfl: )

And my laptop is refusing to charge. If I pull the power adaptor out, it shuts the computer off, if it is plugged in, it says charging but never actually goes up from 24%. Must wander off to the techie board and see if anyone can shed any light on the matter. OH JOY!

And my no spend day went out of the window when I just walked to the post office to send my old mobile off to Love 2 Recycle (hopefully another £35.00!) YAY! but felt that my slow cooker dinner for this evening needed the addition of some red wine. I just bought one of those single serving bottles for £2.20. I know it is more cost effective to buy a big bottle for about a fiver but the husband will just drink it and he doesn't really need any red wine this evening (he's not allowed on week days :p most MSE of me!)

oh no, that's shocking news about the car. Someone keyed our new car last year - a huge deep scrape all down the side - and I was fuming. Why do people feel the need to do things like that? We still haven't got our fixed yet as we can't afford it!
Good luck with the slow cooker meal, expecting a report of how it goes! x
