    Hiya x

Unfortunately we do have to pay council tax this month - we moved in December and so had to pay up until now to make up the new 'more expensive' council tax band we now live in for the year! Urgh.

Anyway, I'm up for a challenge - have made a tenner today so that'll go in the pot! Not sure I'll find it all this month though... (or next the way it's going!).

Can you tell I'm in a typical Monday mood?!?!? :rotfl:

Go on - go ebaying - I hate it, but have made a little bit extra this month... GO NOW! :rotfl:

You will now be pleased to know that i have precisely 4 items listed on Ebay!! :j One of them will make you laugh. We are off to London on Friday for the evening for my birthday (all done completely DFW stylie), but OH has dropped one huge clanger. He bought off fleabay these train tokens to get the half price tickets. What he forot to mention was that you have to book the tickets 7 days in advance. So said husband sat down on Saturday morning to book train tickets for Friday and couldn't understand why the tokens weren't working - DUH!!! So we have ended up having to pay full price for the tickets (through quidco of course), but I have listed the tokens again on fleabay, maybe I'll get my £6.00 back!!!!

I have been quite a good wife today, doing lots of domestic jobs, washing, tidying, etc. Tis not like me at all!

Going off now to find some more stuff to ebay (we have an absolute house full!!!)

Going off to find some more stuff to sell!!!

And forgot to mention my NSD yesterday :j I am going to try for another today! And my PAD money that I have been putting aside for 7 days is already up to £12.00! :j

Well done skysky! Now find another 4! :rotfl:Once you get started, it's not so bad - I think the thought of listing it all and taking pics is worse than actually doing it.

I have one item left on ebay, ending today, has a bid of £10 on it. Considering I only paid £18 for it, I'm quite pleased with that. I shall look for other things to list, but I think I may have run out of stuff! We have a few random bits but I don't think anyone will bid on something like designer egg cups will they??!!!
I'll have a root round in our car boot box tonight and see if there's anything worth salvaging...

Well done on the PAD and NSD too. I had a NSD but I can't do the payment a day thing, I just end up paying too much out of the bank account and making ourselves skint! x

But the no spend day went out the window as I needed the bacon and an onion so £8.88 was spent when I went to the local co-op (I also bought special K red berry, some more stock cubes and a french stick for with tea). My half price train ticket vouchers have a bid on for 99p so at least they will sell too!

    Must list 4 more things......

  • I've listed 15 more items on Amazon this morning - books, cds and dvds that were in the car boot box. We'll see if any of them sell before the boot sale.

There are also a few more things that I should put on ebay, but haven't found the will to do that yet! I'll do it later today or in the week.

My parents have sent me a £5 winning lottery ticket this morning :A to cash in towards the garden fund. :D

Am off to enter some online comps now...

Two of the items I listed on Amazon this morning have sold already. :j It's only £3.86 profit, but that's another £3.86 off the credit card. :D Latest credit card balance: £4137

Two steps forward and three back again - ebay have removed one of my listings!!! It says I am not allowed to sell train tickets. I e-mailed back and said that I am selling a voucher not the actual train tickets. They haven't replied so I have relisted it again!

Just got back in from work - stingy customers today didn't even leave me any tips - how rude! Got to go back at 6.00pm - must wait for the husband to come home first. Haven't got the energy to do anything, there might be time for a nap if I put CBeebies on to entertain DD :rotfl:

I had a similar problem last week with a dress I was selling - apparently I was 'keyword spamming' whatever the heck that means?! I relisted it too and it sold for £10 yesterday. :D
