Panic over, just sold them on buy it now - phew - husband is off the hook, got back what we paid for them! lol! And one more item has a bid on it too! This really is quite exciting. I have listed another three things that the OH needs to upload from turbo lister later this evening - hopefully he can't mess that up!

Well done on your ebay sale! Yes, it does get quite exciting once you have a few bids coming in - makes it worthwhile I guess and every little bit all adds up. :D

ANOTHER cd has sold on Amazon. :j Another £1.92 paid off the credit card. :D New total: £4135.08.

Going to leave it a day or two to make this payment to the card - made one today so will probably confuse virgin  otherwise, and also will wait to see if we sell any other bits. :D

I don't believe this - ANOTHER Amazon sale! :j A book for £2.64 has just sold. :D That makes the outstanding credit card balance now at £4132.44 :j

What kind of books and CDs are you selling on there - I have listed books and CDs and nobody buys them. I also went on Music Magpie yesterday and they didn't want half of my CDs or only wanted to give me 30p or 15p for them! Hmph! I am not giving them away for 30p - thats just rude!

They're mostly cookbooks, garden books, text books and reference books - I don't put any fiction on there as there's so many on there already. Cds - they're mostly ones from the last 5 years or so. DVDs - hubby has lots of dvds from the past 10 years or so. They ony go for between £1.20 - £3, some more, but it all adds up. Music magpie seem to give a lot for disney dvds we found...

Woo hoo - another dvd and a cd sold on Amazon. :j That's another £4.39 off the virgin card - new total: £4130.69. Would be great if we could get rid of another £30 off of it this month...
Also received payment for my ebay item, so will post that tomorrow.
  • Another cd sold on Amazon the night before last. Not sure what the total is up to now, but I shall add it all up and pay it off the credit card within the next couple of days. :T
We're really pleased with the progress we're making on the credit card payments, even hubby has now realised how selling all these little bits and pieces is really adding up. I think he was a bit sceptical at first as he hates getting rid of 'stuff' but now he's caught the bug too! :j

Our pizza express vouchers from Tesco clubcard deals came yesterday, so we'll have a nice free meal out soon for my birthday. :D

I still haven't listed those extra few things on ebay; think I'll leave it and maybe car boot them...

Annoyed at myself as have to buy a sandwich and drink for my lunch today - didn't get up early enough to organise lunch making and didn't do it last night. Tonight I shall definitely be making my own! That'll cost me about £2.30 or so from the mobile sandwich truck thing.

Also had to post lots of Amazon & ebay parcels - postage cost around £10 which has obviously been paid for by the buyers, but I use my 'everything else' cash to pay for it and put the full amounts made online straight to the credit card.
Other than that, I have been very good and bought nothing yet this month from that cash - 8 days after payday and I've hardly spent a bean :-)

I've updated my signature with my new credit card total after all the Amazon sales - balance now stands at: £4126.35 :j The sales have slowed down now, but there's still a few things listed which should hopefully bring in some pennies over the next month or two. :D

Today we made a start on the garden, :D doing things that we can do for free - and it looks great. We had to spend £6 on two rolls of weed fabric stuff but we have loads left over for the back garden when we come to do it.
I received the supertooth thing yesterday that I won a couple of weeks ago. We have no use for it, so it's now listed on ebay, along with one other item. Hopefully those should make some more pennies to pay a bit more off the credit card.

A very minimum spend weekend for me as I accidentally left my wallet and bag locked away in my desk at work! Maybe I should do it every weekend - then I'd never spend a penny!
