  • I've just added up the amount we've paid off on the credit card this month... so far it stands at around £415, so hopefully will be nearer £450 by the end of the month. :j We usually pay off a minimum of £300 a month, so I'm really chuffed we've been able to make a bit extra this month and use it for further overpayments. :D If only we could manage that every month, then we'd be credit card free within 9 - 10 months.

This makes me very very jealous!

Listed another 5 items last night and then another 5 (or was it 6?) into Turbo Lister for OH to upload tonight when I go out to work. I am actually amazed at how little my stuff sells for. All these cds and dvds that I spent lots of money on to get into this mess, now isn't worth anything really. Mother in law brought me a new car seat for DD today so I might be able to list her old one on ebay too.

I need to have a shifty round on my cards in the next couple of weeks as I have a 0% interest rate that is running out on one so I need to transfer that balance somewhere with a lower rate. Hopefully I will be getting a couple of weeks holiday pay at the end of the month as it is the end of the financial tax year so the boss can see from my P60 how much I have actually accrued compared to how much he has actually paid me!

Yay me - 13 items listed on ebay! Well done me! Night on my own tonight - going to have jacket potatoes and sit snuggled on the sofa with a blanket while I watch comic relief!

This weekend I think we will be spending in the garden - very DFW. The garden centre has some peas and beans that are about 60p a pot, so I might get a couple but I don't really see that as spending because it will grow me things to eat therefore saving on the food bill :p . Also need to get the bird boxes up - I keep telling my OH, we will be too late if we don't get them up soon.

    Hope everyone is well!

  • Well done with the ebaying skysky, that's great! I have 3 items on there at the moment ending this weekend; 2 with combined bids of £32 and one with no bids but 5 watchers... :o Hopefully it'll sell too and there'll be some more pennies in the paypal pot. :D

I'll be in the garden too! Am really looking forward to it. I did a bit more clearing and tidying up tonight and it's starting to look a bit more like a garden! Hubby took a load of rubbish to the tip today from there so it's coming along slowly. :D I hope the weather will be nice where you are for your weekend in the garden.

We sold another book on Amazon tonight - £3.55 more off the credit card, which now takes it down to £4113.86. It's really proving motivating at the moment to see it going down by little bits throughout the month.

Have a lovely weekend all x
  • Another little Amazon sale of £1.86, leaving credit card balance now at: £4112.03 :j
  • Another Amazon sale of £2.61, leaving credit card at £4109.42.

An ebay item sold for £32 including postage yesterday too, and I have one left which will end in 5 days or so. Another sold on Saturday for £23.99 inc postage but have yet to receive payment for it.

:j Well done! My listings don't finish until Thursday but so far I have a total of £11.15 across 13 items. I have listed things saying that I would post worldwide to see if this would attract more interest and I have to say that I have had lots of people ask postage questions so will see if it pays off.

I have a couple of items left to list, I have an IPOD shuffle that I have never even opened so hopefully should get a little bit for that.
