Oooohhh, my items on ebay are gradually starting to rise!

I have just got back from Mr Ts having spent £80  . This was following Martin's e-mail this week as I have an 02 phone so I have probably a 6 months supply of washing liquid and conditioner, deoderant and butter! :D If my maths are correct, I should have got myself from the £80.00 spend £25.00 worth of clubcard vouchers, which would equate to £100.00 of OU vouchers (I think!) :p

MY GOODNESS!!! I have just done my daily scratches, one card, 10p, one card, 50p, then another TAB £1.00 but Butlins £5.00 :j :j :j

Listed my ipod shuffle last night so hopefully that should sell next week (well it WILL sell because I listed it for 95p to make the insertion fee 0p!) but hopefully I can get £15 - £20 for it.

Had 6 items finish last night for a grand total of £13.50 with about 7 items finishing tonight so will be busy packaging things up.

Unfortunately working today - and my miserable boss will be there. It really gets me down sometimes how petty it is. Anything that goes wrong, its always someone elses fault but hers (normally tries to say its mine!) - but hey ho, its a job! :T I have been keeping my eyes open for anything else part time but there is literally nothing around at the moment - quite scary

Anyway, remember, must be nice to the old trout, must be nice to the old trout.....

  • Hi SkySky :hello:

I am still here, although haven't been on the site for a while. Am going through a bit of a 'down' time at the moment and am struggling for motivation to do anything much. I have still been making the payments off the credit card when I can and have finished selling a few more things on ebay, but life in general hasn't been a lot of fun lately. My Mum is quite poorly at the moment which always leaves me reeling and emotional, but I'm feeling particularly down at the moment.
My diet has gone to pot, I can't be bothered to do any exercise and I can't even be bothered to fill in this diary which, before, used to keep me so motivated!
  • I've made this month's main payment to the credit card today which brings the balance down to under 4K for the first time in well over a year. Balance now stands at £3799.05. I guess we'll aim to pay off the extra £99.05 this month - if I can find the motivation to do so!

Chin up :) you're doing really well, even if you can't see it!

  • Thanks for your kind words slowlyfading, wantabetterlife & skysky, they're much appreciated.

We'll keep paying the debts off, there's no question about that, but my enthusiasm and motivation for life in general has hit rock bottom at the moment. It seems like my family gets over one thing and something else comes along and knocks us for six again. I just hope and pray things get better soon...

Thank you all for your support, it does mean a lot and it was nice to be missed! I shall try and keep popping back here daily just to keep my mind busy if nothing else.

  • It's payday today and I've worked out we'll have about £170 left once everything has been paid + insurance & tax saved for this month. Out of that, we need to buy a new tyre and get the tracking done on the car, and also buy a close friend's wedding gift. We will also have to spend about £100 more on petrol this month as we have at least 2 long distance trips to do before next payday.
I was going to buy £50's worth of decking boards whilst they are on offer this month but that's gone out of the window now!

I am sorry you are feeling a little low lately DFSD. I too have days when work really really upsets me and I just want out of there but then there are not any jobs out there at the moment so I just have to ride the storm. Then I think I am being really ungrateful and that there are a lot of people far worse off than me. I think I sometimes get quite close to being in a dark place if you know what I mean, but it only normally lasts one day and then I can pick myself up.

On a more cheerful note - YAY less than £4k!!!!! :j

I think I have ran out of things to ebay - seem to have lots and lots of books, dvds and CDs which don't seem to sell for a lot (if at all) and for the pittance people want to pay, I would prefer to keep them! Will give a few of DDs toys a go - she has too many anyway :D
