Hiya Maxdp
Thank you.:A
Yes he has had a lovely birthday, and now out playing bowling with his grand-parents, (my inlaws) and a few of his cousins.....:D , it was good to see him all excited.....:TX
Am sure it was good to see him excited Di. Did you see in the Mail today writer talking about her friend who has a child with Autism. Seems quite bad.
Anyway lots of love to you and yours:D:mad:0 -

They don't mess around cause its a silent killer apparently. (you can feel well and not know how high it is). If we have 3 reading over the weeks and they are higher than that what is expected again its over to the hossie. I thought all britain was the same and all followed the prodigy guidlines.
My hemo appointment has come through quick too and if we are waiting for ops now its about 16 weeks in all I think. I just think your doc needs to put you in touch with the hopital consultant if things are bad in that you have to go every month for bp:eek: . I suppose we are lucky then cause they do not mess around with it. Its a thing that only takes a short time to take hold. I was told with mine I was a fingers click away from a stroke. It was malignant hypertension...;)
That was me confusing matters again ......:o lol.
Here I have a chart and take my home readings in, they do say if I have a couple that stay high I do have to consult them, other than that, they do a few within a space of time of 20 mins when I have my check up, the readings are up and down, even though I say its whitecoat syndrome, because its hereditary this is another reason for the regular check ups.
I think this is another reason why they monitor every month to keep a check on it, they were going to change my meds the last time, I take 180 XL Adizem for mine, only at one a day, so when I go back the nurse will check it, if its high, its straight into the doctor.
I think you have a good procedure going by what you said with yours and they do keep a close eye on you.
Both my mum and youngest sister had breast cancer the same time, this was only a few years ago, it was in fact mum first then my sister found out 3 months after, then 3 months on my father was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, I was put in touch with the genetics, my result came back as med to high risk, I am still waiting for my mammo appointment to come through, also pestering them but nothing, my sister from Cornwall even though she is a few years older than me, she had her's within a few weeks when her GP referred her....good news though, it was all-clear and so was Christines.;)
Golly your appointment came through very quickly, and that is very good, blimey you were that close to a stroke then........:eek:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

marshallka wrote: »Same here with the genetics. We are under Brimingham womens hospital for herditary bowel/stomach cancer. I had my colonoscopy this may last year and hated it... we go every 3 years and they are now testing for something called HNPCC in the genes from something or other... Seems like me and Di have lots in common.;)
