Does the fact that i pay via a DMP matter in any of this. Plus i noticed on my credit file that my Egg history shows full and on time payments for 2 years, then one missed as i set up a reduced payment plan, then straight to default. I thought you had to miss 3 payments for that to happen?0 -

Its still part of the britain though is it not Wales..?? The guidlines are from the British Hypertension Society....;)

Like yourself these are who we have at our surgeries, this what I meant to say was we have few Practice nurses, and they all specialise in something then, the one also works as a Community nurse for cancer patients, but she is a surgery nurse as well, the other is the asthma nurse, and we have a Phlebotmist, even though they all do bloods, BP etc, and then there is the health nurse, health asisstant, and the Health visitor. Then the Chiropodist.
I do not know for definate how different these NHS differs, but here Maz my sister was on the waiting list for referrals for over a year due to a shoulder, and back op she is due to have, and she had a sleep apnoa test after waiting for 12 months, that was here in Wales, one of my other sister's from Cornwall, she only waited a month if that for her sleep apnoa test and the same for my other sister Christine, from then Gloucester, referrals and waiting lists I know are at arms length of longer, and they try to take the burdens off by having monthly check up's and monitoring at the surgery, hubby waited 3 months to see a physciatrist, even Daniel's appointments are every 6-12 months, unless of course a cancellation comes up or if something urgent comes up.
Although as soon as you are referred check ups for the main of the things are more regular.;) Its just the waiting.
Was reading this as well, but its from March last year, been lots of bed blocking again this year, the same as every year and probably the same as everywhere:

No a DMP doesn't matter at all, but they will reset any refund off the balance. I think as soon as you set up a reduced payment plan they class you as in arrears. You may like to ask about that on the debt forum.DS1 12/10/04

Hi Boo. Just read through some posts and saw that you were claiming against MBNA have got two gone to the FOS 1 settled before it was investigated, PPI was supposedly ticked:rolleyes: but self employed so they settled that. Other was sold over phone, again supposedly
and it is just going to an adjudicator. Both these were Credit card PPI with A and L (taken over by MBNA).

My hemo appointment has come through quick too and if we are waiting for ops now its about 16 weeks in all I think. I just think your doc needs to put you in touch with the hopital consultant if things are bad in that you have to go every month for bp:eek: . I suppose we are lucky then cause they do not mess around with it. Its a thing that only takes a short time to take hold. I was told with mine I was a fingers click away from a stroke. It was malignant hypertension...;)0
