  • Have just spoken to Mr Glynn Rixom my case officer at Tesco PF. He has received my second letter and will be going through my case soon, but would not give me a timescale as he has to still look at cases older than mine. They are realy dragging their feet over this. Will be contacting the FSA this morning.

Hope everyone is well. Haven't been able to look at posts over the weekend due to work commitments. Marshallka is your eye any better, Di how is the job situation coming on. hope you hear some good news soon. Dreamer how is your step dad

Yes these companies like to drag their feet when they have to pay out, however if the shoe was on the other foot they would sharp be after you if you owed them money.

It's so frustrating having to wait for these slow companies.

I have contacted the FSA in the past and although they have their rules and regs they did'nt really help me not even when I quoted Treating Customers Fairly. Good Luck I hope you get somewhere with this one

I have also heard that line about "dealing with cases older than yours" from Freedom. At the end of the day they have to respond within a certain time.

Showergirl, I had my complaint with Mint which was also Royal Bank of Scotland and was investigated by the PPI team in Manchester.
I kept getting told "we have older cases than yours" for about 4 weeks after the initial 8 weeks, obviously what they are told to say!
I sent the complaint forms to the FOS but next day got a reply!

So dont give up though I know it is very frustrating, it was for me.

Hiya showergirl, that is so bad of Tesco. I really think the FSA should do something now with them as they are not responding to anyones complaints within the given time. What are these rules made for if not for following by all companies??

Let us know what the FSA are saying about it. I bet they will just say "your comments have been noted".

My eye is nearly cleared up now thanks, just a small amount of blood that seems to have taken up residence. It will go, they always do. ;)
