You would have to post all the figures up and I could do this the tiggrae method. You need the amount of loan, PPI, payments made, monthly payments and how many you originally had....

I could have a go for you..

Might be a shock to you though and after the electric business yesterday I would not want to shock you anymore...

LMTO you might not want to know what that means unless you already know or can guess:rotfl: :rotfl:

Going to pick my daughter up from school will be back will try and find figures.

  • hi just a quick one again. Thought I had one loan with Halifax in 2003 am pretty sure I was Missold the ppi but cant really remember the the phone conversation. Would I be best asking for an SAR from them. This 2003 loan was a top up from two prevoius loan starting in 2000. Can I claim off those as well?
  • also do banks keep phone conversation records?

    Hello

Yes you would be better doing a SAR this way you have all the information regarding the loans, they should also send you a copy of the telephone recordings.

If you can prove ppi was mis-sold it is worth claiming it back.

    Hi Dave

I would ask if they have the recordings, I know sales as from Jan 2005 are recorded, not sure if they were before that, however there is no harm in asking.

If you feel a SAR would help let me know if you need the template for this.;)
Have you any information at all from Halifax, like the agreement, they should supply this to you maybe free of charge or just charge a £1 for the copy of the agreement.

The agreement will show the PPI if taken.

  • I have the 2003 loan agreement here but the others they said I have to write off but have the roll numbers. Would I need a SAR to do that?. Or Am I best just sending £10 and get it all at once. My head hurts this seems so complex
