I understand that you currently hold details of my personal and financial information within your internal record systems with regard to personal loan accounts And or credit cards

Please supply me with a complete list of transaction and charges relating to my history with your organization, INCLUDING Loans and or credit cards, payment protection insurance and other products. Alternatively a complete set of statements for the accounts or associated accounts is acceptable. I would be grateful if you would provide the following for ALL accounts or associated accounts I have held with your organization:
-Full copies of all contracts which you believe exist or have existed between myself and your organization, including true copies of any documents you hold in support of the same.

- A complete list of all transactions or statements relating to ALL of my Loan Accounts and or credit card with your organization.

-Copies of all documents which include any of my personal information including copies of any contacts or invoices, emails or computer records containing my personal information, or any records which pertain to this information.

-Full copies or transcripts of any correspondence in postal, email or any other format which you have entered into with any individual, organization or third party which contains my personal or financial, or which pertains to me.

- Where any previous information or records held have been deleted or disposed of, the methods used to do so, including dates, certificates or references confirming details of destruction. Where you are unable to provide such certificates, please provide a declaration, signed by an authorised officer of your company, confirming the dates and methods of destruction of this data.

-Full hard copy print outs of my personal or financial information, held in a digital, magnetic or any other format which is held in any archives, backups or other storage devices / locations.

I enclose a cheque in the sum of £10 to cover your fee.

IF YOU UNABLE TO DEAL WITH THIS REQUEST, YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATELY FORWARD IT TO THE PERSON WITHIN YOUR ORGANISATION RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA PROTECTION.

I look forward to hearing from you in the first instance of receipt.

Just mark your signature with a cross do not do your usual, or do not sign but print name only, I had read on here before that they use these special scanners and best be safe, if you know what I mean.;)

Dave I have added a template of an SAR above for you, you pay £10 cheque or postal order, post by recorded delivery as they have 40 days to supply EVERTHING they have on you, so if there are conversations recorded they would have to supply them as well.

The choice is yours hunni, if you think the SAR will help you out more then go for it.

I would send the SAR and £10, they have to supply ALL info they have on you. If your heads hurts in the beginning it will be banging by the end lol don't let that put you off, you go for it if it has been mis-sold.

Companies normally only keep info for 6yrs, some info after this time is stored on fiche. You should be able to gt all info for the 2003 loan, you may not get all the info you need for the previous ones?

It seems complex in the beginning but believe me you will be a lawyer by the time you've finished:rotfl:

I am not certain hun, but it was mentioned in one of the posts on this forum, that these finance firms have these uptodate modern scanners, so whether or not they copy from these I do not know, if I come across it again I will post it.

Just as long as you print your name that should be fine, if you want see what others say about this first, I'm sure someone else would be able to confirm.;)

I had taken it as they could scan and copy the signature and add on to agreements, but as said not too sure. x

Scanners are used to kind of photocopy your letter so that it can be put on their system, your letter can then be archived. Its an easier way than having loads of paperwork to look through for info.

thanks for your help especially as I have a credit card with charges that need reclaiming. Just want to be sure of my reasons for misselling of ppi thats the main reason

Thats why its best to request the SAR so you have as much info as pos:D
