I checked Kaias posts, her claim was below £5k so it would have gone through the small claims I think, will check Marlucs, thanks

Checked marlucs posts omg how scary, they say they got £7k and I think would have went through the small claims court?

Brilliant, ask to speak to the manager..

Saw your post marshallka it was exactly word for word what they came back to me with in the begining:

"A booklet was sent out from Freedom Fiance outlining the benefits and conditions of the optional payment protection policy, it also stated that the term of the policy was 5 years. This booklet was designed by your loan lender and issued by Freedom Finance prior to the signature of the credit agreement. Employees joining the business are briefed and assessed at induction on their understanding of the payment protection products and would of been keen to answer your questions.

Our records indicate that you signed the credit agreement to include ppi to cover your loan. The agreement stated that signing the document confirmed that you had read and understood the ppi summary and the premium for the insurance was added to the loan and paid for with monthly installments.

Based on this information we are unable to uphold your complaint."

OMG, is there any way you can go to your old addy hun ?

Which reminds me, my Lloyds with the adjudicator, although the complaint form is in my present address, the agreement was my old address...... , think I had better inform him, just in case of any confusion.

Too embarrassed  . Have just come off phone have asked for call recordings to be sent as not sent when requested. Said he would send me a form to sign, told him not, as they should have sent these out in the first place and I paid £10.

Just found out also that the LTV was only calculated on the £40k the PPI was separate he said. With the loan they took us into neg equity assuming that house prices would rise and catch up with the loan

Ask him what commission the broker got but could not tell me.
