PPI Reclaiming discussion Part III

 Thanks that's great. It's just a case of knowing where to start! I cant help but feel I was missold as I have no recollection of the PPI being explained to me. I usually say no to these kind of insurances as I have good benefits from my employer.
As I have the PPI information I wasn't sure if I could try and reclaim as I thought they would say you have the paper work - it's your responsibility.
I will write a couple of letters and let you know how I get on.
With pleasure Ziggy.;)
And only to say so that you will not feel down-hearted the first letters they try to fob people off, but just keep at them and I'm sure you have a good case here, especially as you said you get good benefits from your employer.
You can always add that on your cancellation letter, tell them you have no need for this because your already covered, again in the complaint letter.;)
You can tell them you were not advised of the PPI in the sale where you would have had your chance to tell them that you did not require it as you already have cover in place to protect your finances.
so if unsuccessful on the first letter, another one can be sent, then if still not lucky the ombudsman will look at your complaint for you, then they can look out lol.:D
Everything crossed here for you.

I know my Endeavour complaint will be returned to me now, even though I have not heard a thing for ages, not even an update.
Yet again with the large volumes of complaints it will take more than double the time now.....just for an update, or it will be back in the post to me......
Just checked the FOS received the Endeavour complaint mid Sept and the last letter from them was dated 26 Sept........nothing since though. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

See this is what I received from LLoyds twice, one with the first letter where they did also state on the letter they will consider if I come forward with new information, then another leaflet with the final (2nd letter), is there anything on your letter Pinknico to say you can now actually take to the FOS?
See what Marshallka says about this hun?;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I know fine well what its going to say "GET LOST". We already give you a final response. If I see another copy of that final response letter
Well if that is the case then it in 2004 fisa could help but now they can't then I think the FSA should be looking into this now, as they regulate them now
Was thinking of using a no win no fee solicitor I know they take 25% of claim but Iwas thinking by the time I paid a solicitor it may well amount to the same amount? any ideas which way to go here:wave:0
