I just want my Firstplus/Lloyds complaint in with the FOS and with an adjudicator then I am done and dusted with mine but I think it will be this time next year I will saying the same. It seems like forever...

Just hope its all been worth it though. I will be very annoyed if its not. In march it would have taken up 12 months of my life.. .

Yes they did tell me, and I was not happy, I was not feeling amazing yesterday either so their reply did not help, I will add paste and copy it on here now.
I thought we were free to email and ask about progress?? I bet the FOS will do the same about mine with Firstplus. In fact she did tell me to be patient, something that is not in nature...;)

Here was the FSCS response yesterday, it was I think early November or something like that was the last time I got in touch with them and when she got back.....afterall its already been going on since they received my form in July so I am bound to be anxious.....

    Dear Mrs

Unfortunately as mentioned in my previous email, I will not be able to provide you with an update until the investigation is completed and this may take some time. These investigations do not have a specific timescale therefore I am not able to give you any indication of how long it may take.

Please be assured that once we have any new information to give we will contact you, in the meantime please bear with us and refrain from asking for updates as this will only slow the process for dealing with claims.

If you have any further questions, please contact our helpline on 020 7892 7300.

    Yours sincerely

I thought that too.... , the other was a guy who I used to get in touch with but its no longer through him, if I email the guy it will be passed on to this one again.....

Sometimes its hard to be patient any longer than we have been patient for a long time

Why should asking on how the claims are progressing slow things down?

On the letter that came with the application it says you can email, I'm sure it did.

I also told Pinknico about this and she seemed annoyed about this as well  , although I think Pinknico has someone else dealing with her's and she have not had this type of comment back from them and keeps in touch now and again just like myself to find out what it what, but we do not keep on and on....
