    Hi Sue
Have you anything at all in paperwork from these? and is this still active?
I was thinking if this is still active you can request for a copy of a written calculation for where you are at present with them, this way it may be a bit of help towards the documents in case you want to go to the FOS, and because they said you can go to the FOS about this I would contact them and let the FOS know about this and see what they have to say, its up to you but you can tell them you know PPI was included but lack the paperwork where the FOS will investigate by getting in contact with the company to forward what they have, give them a try hun and see what they say here:
    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm

There is a contact number plus complaint forms on that link above, please let us know how this goes, cheers and good luck.;)

Di, the card is still current and is used regularly but I don't keep the statements as once they have been paid each month I shred them. Should I be asking for the original agreement? and more to the point will they still have it from so far back? or just requesting copies of my statements from as far back as they have them? Sorry to be a pain but I don't want to look a fool by asking for the wrong stuff!

I emailed the one from the FOS who sent the details, in hope that the email will be read for Monday morning, an automated message came through which said she will not be available until Weds 3 Dec and will read on her return.

Thought it was best to contact her as it was her that said sent the details to HFC.....

    Hi Sue
Many do tend to shred their statements, but not to worry, you can of course request for a copy of the agreement, but if you know you are paying PPI, just reclaim anyway, you do not actually require the statements as such because if you were successful in this they would have to repay you and send you the calculations anyway, and if this went to the FOS they do tend to request for information from the credit card company.

Although many also find requesting an SAR (Subject Access Request) beneficial if they have no paperwork at all, this does cost £10 cheque or postal payment though, but they have 40 days to supply you with ALL the information they have on your account.

If you require the SAR template letter hun, give us a yell where one of us will be happy to post this up for you.;)

So not to worry, there are ways around this, but if you want to still continue to reclaim and complain there is a reclaim template letter on site too, let me know hun and we will guide you to the right direction here, cheers.
