Marshallka, all the best for tomorrow hun.;)

I thought my lloyds case would be a straight forward case to deal with - but obviously not...... , or the adjudicator would have confirmed this by now - I'm sure...... .

Hope you hear about your two, it seems like you've been waiting a very long time.
Hubby not heard anything about fast track yet either, so its very unlikely he will be having this.
    Thanks Di..

I thought my co-op other loans would be sorted by now but obviously not... . I have called the adjudicator and left a message on the answerphone but not had any call back. I have also emailed with regards to the FIrstplus insurer one and heard nothing yet but have had a read receipt.

Edit just had this from the FIrstplus one

Firstplus has confirmed that the underwriters for the policy were Miller Fisher, however they are no longer in business and Cassidy Davis took over from them. I have requested further information from Firstplus, in order to determine the liability issue. As soon as a response is received from Firstplus, the matter may need to be referred to our Legal department to be further considered. I will inform you if we need to proceed with this course of action.

Yeah fine maxdp, going to get the screening done tomorrow and then 10 days wait... . I want to know today or yesterday though:mad: . At least something is being done at long last. I suppose they have to wait until other things are out before doing these tests.

I have not heard anything about either firstplus or co-op yet. Emailed both cases and not got back to me. I will try again tomorrow.:D

Am really glad that things are moving for you now. Fingers crossed it will be sorted out soon. So good luck for tomorrow.;)

As for the others. Think they are ignoring us now. Have heard nothing from mine so am not sure which way to go. If I was at the top of the pile in July then surely I should stay at the top of the pile till it is sorted:mad::mad::mad:.

Am not going to give up but am thinking through my options:eek:

  • "Now why does that not surpise me.

Firstly can you please write a letter to the OFT and FSA about this and make a complaint (your compaint will be added to a list there to see the fitness of them holding a licence) that this company from GIB sold you a loan and PPI and was not (and is still not!!) regulated here in the UK although they do hold a consumer credit licence.

Secondly, have you sent another letter to Bespoke to reiterate your complaint here??"

Hi - thanks for the reply - will do a letter to OFT & FSA (is there a template? - no worries if not).
I haven't sent another letter to Bespoke as yet - I presume I just go over the same points again and say that I'm not happy with their decision?
Sorry - I'm usually a fairly intellegent person, but my brain cells seem to have escaped me today!!!

Thanks maxdp. Found and photographed a few other things now that look to be related but I have never mentioned before. Its scary in one way but if I am diagnosed with ANYTHING at all it will be worth it as not knowing and knowing things are not right is worse.

So sorry that you have not heard anything yet. . It does make you angry. I have had an email about my firstplus one and posted it above. Can you have a read and let me know your thoughts here as I am confused to hell.

I'm sure you would have heard by now if they were not able to deal with your unfair rebate one, this has been with them for a while now hasn't it?

There is no template for the OFT and FSA but just mention that you had no idea that you were dealing with a company from outside the UK who were not regulated by anyone. Just to add it to the list.

You could also mention in the letter that you did not know that you were dealing with GIB and would not have contemplated a loan from someone where the laws are so different.

If you took this to court then you can hold the court case here in the UK but if you won and they decided to not pay up then you could not instruct uk baliffs in GIB has they have no jurisdiction there. This created an unfair relationship and unfair contract.

I have heard here from the FOS just

To me here they may be saying that again they do not have jurisdiction over it????
