    Yes di, they sent me a PPI questionnaire, which I refused to fill in, I sent it back to them on Monday stating I refused to fill it in, today I've received the final reply.

    I find it hard to believe they've conducted an enquiry, I believe this is a standard response.

    The difficulty being, because the PPI box was ticked and signed, how do I prove it was mis-sold, looking at the application form, it looks like I've requested the PPI.

    This is a difficult one, but if you were mis sold in a phone call and they dont have it then I would take it to the FOS and Northern rock will have to proove it didnt happen. You have nothing to lose going to the FOS even if you dont win. x

    The letter goes onto to say:

    The salesperson recommended PPI for the following reasons:

    For simple peace of mind that your payments are being made

    You had no cover in place to meet loan repayments.

    That's not true, I get paid work or play by my employer if I'm off sick, I still receive a full salary so the payments would have been met.
