So do you feel it may be best for you to take this to the FOS route?.
Yes di, they sent me a PPI questionnaire, which I refused to fill in, I sent it back to them on Monday stating I refused to fill it in, today I've received the final reply.
I find it hard to believe they've conducted an enquiry, I believe this is a standard response.
The difficulty being, because the PPI box was ticked and signed, how do I prove it was mis-sold, looking at the application form, it looks like I've requested the PPI.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

This is a difficult one, but if you were mis sold in a phone call and they dont have it then I would take it to the FOS and Northern rock will have to proove it didnt happen. You have nothing to lose going to the FOS even if you dont win. xDS1 12/10/04

The letter goes onto to say:
The salesperson recommended PPI for the following reasons:
For simple peace of mind that your payments are being made
You had no cover in place to meet loan repayments.
That's not true, I get paid work or play by my employer if I'm off sick, I still receive a full salary so the payments would have been met.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
