You can ask for previous loan account numbers and yes send recorded so you know they received it and cant deny receiving it.

Do you only need account numbers for the previous loans?

Yes it is for previous loans taken out with FP, my present loan was a consolidation loan with no PPI (as far as i am aware)

Have just finished my letter to HFC, took a while the children helped:rolleyes:

Also had to write to a card protection company who have taken double payments from an Egg card for some reason. Only found out due to the SAR!

My only concern here for you BGB with the court is that because this was internet and you would have had to select it (allegedly) then they will say you should have read the policy on line which would have shown exclusions(allegedly)

Egg haven't managed to provide any evidence to that though. They've provided a screenshot which they say proves that I would have had to select something, and that they would then have provided details of the policy exclusions although they haven't been able to prove that. They've not even sent any screenshots or anything just a statements saying, "We would have sent you a copy". I could say I had Jose Mourinho doing naked hoovering around mine last night.................................................................................(*looks to sky in a daydream.......................) but that doesn't mean it happened! Halifax also said similar, but they couldn't prove it.

I assume the FOS would say the same thing though? The difference is that the courts would sort the whole thing out within the next 2 mths while the FOS would take a year or longer. I'm so sick of the whole money thing, I just want it sorted and soon.

On looking back over my file, Egg have sent a screenprint which shows a yes or no option and says that I would have to have selected one of these. The next print they have provided me with says "accident sickness and unemployment" in the PP box. They say that one automatically selects the other. The page they have sent showing the payment protection options is blank. While on the 'Application Review' form, the whole page is shaded grey apart from the section marked 'Accident, sickness and unemployment'.

In terms of the burden of proof, where does it lie?
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
