Righty-ho. I'm off to watch the footy on Setanta and cheer on the mighty Ayrshire Killie!!!! (The language likely to be particularly choice given the mood I'm in). And yes, lunch is going to be a scrambled egg roll and I'm going to whisk that flipping Egg like no Egg has ever been whisked before!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Thanks Boo, can't believe it. The SARS also shows that they added ppi to a loan without premission the box is clearly unticked. Will help them with their investigation by sending them the offending paper work.
Query: If I have signed a direct debit form for a set amount of money and they take a different amount can I threaten them with anything?
Theft:rotfl:
It all depends on what it was for i would of thought, eg variable rates things like that:eek::j Let him who be deceived ,be deceived:j0 -

I'm certainly happy to submit the court papers as I've taken another bank to court over this issue (they settled eventually!), but definitely feel this is not the end of the matter as far as Egg go.
I'm pretty sure the FOS option that Egg have put at the end of their letter is now pretty much a 'no go' given that the policy was taken out in June 01. Is this correct?
No that is not correct Egg is a bank and covered back then, my loan is with them for 2000. Court would be quicker but then you cant go to the FOS after.
If you go to the FOS and they say no you can then go to court.xDS1 12/10/04

So, would you take the FOS route? The only thing that worries me about that is the length of time to get anywhere with it. It seems to take an inordinate amount of time to get anywhere with these things!
Speaking of the FOS, I also got a letter from them today about my claim against Sainsburys. They have said that they have contacted the business to obtain further information about my case.
"The Adjudicator will carefully consider what you and the business have said, before setting out their views on how the complaint will be settled".
"Because we are dealing with a particularly large number of complaints, I am sorry that it may be a while before an adjudicator is free to look into your case. However, one of my colleagues will write to you as soon as possible - and certainly within two months - to keep in touch with you".
At least a court action would save the hanging around with the FOS, but I thought the FOS would only cover things within the 6 year rule. This was a policy from June 01, so I think I'm well out of that, but is it 6 years from then or 6 years from now?!
(P.S. One nil up, should have had someone sent off, and the Saints missed a penalty)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

What about the FOS option?
There are solicitors taking these claims on with you being covered by insurance so you dont foot the bill if you lose,& if you win you keep all of your claim & the solicitor claims his/her bill off the company involved.
hope this helps.0 -

My only concern here for you BGB with the court is that because this was internet and you would have had to select it (allegedly) then they will say you should have read the policy on line which would have shown exclusions(allegedly)DS1 12/10/04

You can ask for previous loan account numbers and yes send recorded so you know they received it and cant deny receiving it.
Do you only need account numbers for the previous loans?DS1 12/10/04
