Hi Di, welcome back hun:j :rotfl:
had a reply from Think mortgages this morning, confirming that we completed a remortgage application on 4/11/03 where we "opted" for a lump sum insurance policy which was built into our mortgage advance, they say they no longer have a copy of this call due to the time that has elapsed since the sale. Can i still claim by sending a letter off to the ombudsman? have also had a reply from WELCOME saying that we had a 30 day cooling off or cancellation period to the credit agreement which was executed "correctly" on 10th may 2004. with both these loans i remember being told that our chances of obtaining them would be better if we opted for the ppi's because we had bad credit history at the time. i am so confused, should i carry on sending the second letter telling them i will be contacting the ombudsman?
