Hi there
Now this will depend if your case is straight forward or not, some can be a matter of weeks if the other party agree at this stage, if not then it may get moved on to the ombudsman himself to take over this complaint who looks at it with fresh eyes then.
Good luck with this and hope you hear something soon.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Boo

Hi Boo, I have sent you a PM hun.:D
You can still cancel, but companies vary in how they deal with their cancellations, and of course you can still reclaim on your PPI.;)
On my nemo loan ppi, I cancelled that after the cooling period and as you know the mis selling side of this was dealt with by the FOS, then every penny plus interest of the PPI was paid directly back to me. XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi hun
Well for instance mine was a complexed case as the company I was complaining against was adamant mine was not mis sold, whereas this had taken 14 months for this to be resolved..and won.
When I say straight forward it could be that the company agree with the adjudicator about your case, and will resolve this case at an earlier stage, some within 6 weeks from the adjudicator stage. I so also think it may depend on how quickly the adjudicator you have works on their cases and how many they are dealing with at the same time.
You could get in touch with them in the next fortnight to see how your case is going, I know many do that once they know the adjudicator are dealing with it.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Right then Boo.....lol, I would put this into writing myself, this way you have your proof and if you post by recorded delivery, if you request they do this over the phone I would not bank on it.
Ask them to cancel immediately.
Now they should do this with your request and confirm they have done this, then your payments should reduce, hopefully, and Boo, you can still go ahead and reclaim on the PPI, because you were still mis sold and they are not going to give you back that money by just cancelling, I know you got my drift....lol..:D:A
