Hello March08
Well done to you.:T
Going by what I am aware of some do write to request if they can have this paid directly to them, however as the loan is active they may also state this will go towards your loan, if you want this paid directly back to you then write to them and request this.;)
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Can anyone help me? I have received an offer from HSBC for about 57% of what they say they owe me for mis-selling a PPI on my loan. Should I take the offer or will they up the offer if I refuse it?0

Hi
Have they actually sent you the full calculations of how this was worked out, you could ask them to send them to you.
Have they given you so much time to get back to them on this?
If this was an offer and/or final offer and your not satisfied you could ask them if they will do this, if not you can then take your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service if you want to go this direction if unsuccessful.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi,I am having trouble finding the broker that sold me Mortgage Protection insurance.I have a pre existing illness, therefore I could not claim anywaythis was not discussed in anyway.
Iwrote to the insurance company Scottish Provident)first, and they explained that they directed me to the broker Lifelink Asset that sold me the policy.
However it now appears that X the director has left the country and gone to live in Cyprus!(letter sent recorded with£10 for SAR)
I also wrote to a further insurance company(Paymentshield) PPi that I had with the same broker.
They have given me another address of the partner of the company(Lifelink Asset).
Apparently LifeLink Asset were part of Lifelink and Lifelink Asset no longer trade with them.
Please please help what should I do next?
Sorry that this is so long,I have sent £10 to Paymentshield for SAR.SPC £500 well will try very hard.

I would like tonight to introduce you to some music – but I will break you in gradually, even though all your PM’s want my Queen Sanctuary posts:D, therefore a liitle number from a while ago!:rotfl:
