Hi all
Haven't been on here for ages. I have just woken up as you will see from the title to this post lol.
Last letter I got was on 13th November saying the next one would be from the Case Manager. Mind you they never said what century it would be in!
Far too many posts for me to read through especially as I have joined a stop smoking forum as well!
Hope you are all good
Anne
Have had similar letter from FOS on third one now(i think) still no adjudicator.Hope you get one soon.:D Have given up smoking as well, good luck with that one as well;)

Masmit, do you still need that lawyer.. I have one who will do it for free, by means of taking out an insurance policy to cover the costs.
They specialise on cases like this.. They are taking on a case for me, little less vanilla than the rest. but have told me that I have a solid case.0 -

Hi how long has yours been with the lawyer, or at what stage is it at.?:mad:0 -

Glad you are keeping us posted. I wondered if you had won and busy spending it somewhere...lol
Hiya Marshallka
I have been trawling through some of the posts and noticed that catinthehat won. Haven't heard anything about a joint claim. I spoke to the FOS in November to ask about a joint First Plus claim and the girl said she hadn't heard anything about it.
If I had won I would have been straight on here SHOUTING ABOUT IT!0 -

Hi Max
It takes a flippin long time don't it. Good luck to you on the no smoking too, having good and bad days here.0 -
Open letter sent to FOS condeming the actions of FIRSTPLUS and its Fob off tactics. Already highlighted crucial flaws in its handling of some of your complaints, case law has been indexed and sent alongside.
Same letter sent to Number 10, and letter sent to OFT requesting immediate investigation into FIRSTPLUS, consumer credit licence.
Letters sent to BBC, SKY and the Conservative Party.. open letter sent to FSA again condeming the "House Rates" Firstplus are using to make up its interest rates.
Open letter, on behalf of members condeming the usury rates and practices firstplus are employing in its complaints handling procedures. With 8 Case Studies.
Open Letter to Lloyds sent Condeming its protection of; and lack of disclosure of FIRSTPLUS commissions and liability.
So whats next. I am keen on a class action, would anyone be interested in joining.. I think its time we got serious, the press coverage alone would be worth it.0 -

I am sure you will hear soon. I no longer have a complaint against them as its all closed and now with the insurer instead under the advice of the FOS. Its for the unfair rebate though and not misselling and falls under the unfair terms in the PPI policy. Still waiting for my final response from the insurer though and then have to start all over again in the complaints procedure...;)0 -

What is the class act about.. my PPI was sold by a broker and not firstplus and I have a complaint against the insurer for the rebate in at the FOS now.
Is this about the actual agreements or the interest rates etc....0
