Hi
I started imeasure and this was last week
imeasureLast week you spent:£30.63 on gas£6.84 on electricity
I live in 4 bed home, 2 adults and 1 child. Normal 12 yr old Baxi solo boiler. Leave temp set around 18 C.
We are out of the house in the daytime and only use Ch from 4.00 -10pm
On timer:
CH come one for 1 hour at 7.00am and then 4.00pm to 10.00pm
Gas heating water 20 mins at 6.00am and 15min ad 16:00
On average it look like I am using 110 kwp / £3.87p per day (or 890kwh week/ £30.63) . Is this normal for the gas usage outlined above?
Electric 6.84 was 57 units is this ok?0 -
18 units for me so i guess not
Blimey your house must have been like a sauna :-)
I'm £190 in credit with my gas but am still wary of putting it on for too long though, not too sure how long that will last if I have the heating on high.
3 units a day Mon-Fri then more at the weekend perhaps 5.0 -

You need to convert those units to kwh. If a metric unit x11, that's 110kwh (imperial would be 310kwh!).
It's quite high by the standards of most posters but just a bit higher than us (3 bed house but hot water for six).0 -

4 bed house too, 2 adults 2 children.
elec is about 8 units a day but maybe 10/11 at the w/e when we need the tumble drier and iron.
gas has been about 45kwh/day lately but this week with the temp diving it was and would be more like 80kwh if it wasn't for me keep turning it off when i see a chance and turning the night temp down to 10 from 12deg.
rarely is the stat above 15deg in the evenings so i,m surprised i'm using this much. i'm plenty in credit with the gas, but hate seeing that meter whizz round.
boiler is 6m old combi. Please note, we've had to remove your signature because it was sh*te!0
