I think its wrong to assume the OP is a theif or has stolen the coat, without having proof of such outrageous claims, you should never automatically assume something is stolen, because they have no receipts. I don't have any receipts for my clothes in my wardrobe, I can assure you all paid for.

The OP has posted on here seeking advice, users are reminded to reply offering advice and not accusations.

    Thank you!!!

wow, i guess i'll go back to lurking on this forum. i've been lurking for years-I DECIDE to become a fully fledged member and get accused of being a theif?
    i wonder why?

i have never stolen a thing in my life, i was raised very well and have morals unlike some.

They can check your purchase by doing a computer check for the sale, do you know the day & time you made the purchase? If you have a rough idea of these details a check can be made in the back office!

i think this is what they done, i showed the manager my bank statement, several minutes later she said the computers confirmed the purchase.

  • fREDDIE SNOWBITS, REALLY WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?

I do not have a problem. I said I will await to be corrected. It appears I have been corrected and as such have edited deleted my post.

I trust others amongst us when corrected would do the same.

Its easy to make mistakes, we all do, and it takes courage to stand up and admit you got it wrong, if there is a lesson to be learned, its only to better yourself, and remind yourself not to speculate on the ops position, unless you know they are facts.

I know you have a lot of good potential, and a lot to offer, don't spoil that with nasty comments, its a slippery slope.

Like I say it takes courage to admit you are wrong my friend, but it takes a man to say "i'm sorry", I think the least you could do is apologize to the Op.

the manager gave my babies 2 small winnie the pooh teddy bears, she was very sweet :T she explained that the woman at the customer services till was a little "harsh" at times.

Glad you finally got it all sorted.

regarding the comment "harsh" I think that could apply to some of the comments on this thread!!

Up to a 5 years ago I used to work at Tescos and it was (and from speaking to a couple of friends that still work there, still is) common pratice to put "harsh" members of staff on the customer service desk. They figure only the customers with genuine complaints would take it further to the manager. It is a way of weedling the people who are trying it on.
