OS meet up?

Great - I have updated the first page too with, here is the final blurb:
Definite new date:
Saturday 13th November 2010 from 12 noon as follows:
12:00 meet in front of Something Fishy in Lewisham for a fish and chips meal, here is the link to a Time Out review and map: http://www.timeout.com/london/restau...omething-fishy
Then
2:00 pm meet anyone who could not make it to Lewisham at the Blackheath Reminscence Centre (link: http://www.age-exchange.org.uk/about_us/visit.html)
Open to all (not just the usual suspects!). Very friendly, low-key OS event, where we meet to have a meal or tea and cake (sometimes a shared picnic, sometimes a bought meal but always very reasonably priced - we are OSers after all!) and a chat, to meet old friends and make new ones.
Sometimes we bring books, magazines, vouchers, seeds, plants and anything else that we can be bother carrying with us, to exchange and share with our fellow OSers.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
I'll get the bus straight to blackheath, see you 2ish0

Thanks Annie, see you in Blackheath!
Please could anyone who wants to meet first for fish and chips let me know, so if nobody is interested I won't go there to be all on my own? Thanks! :-)Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Just to say thanks for the PM, Caterina but that's not a weekend I can get to London.
Have a good time!

I wonder how she is doing!) perhaps you could organise a Brizzle meet-up, it is near neough for me to make in a day return! Hope to see you soon, and please let me know if you are coming to London at any time and I shall try to get a few local OSers together to welcome you. xxxFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Would very much like to join in with the meet please. Hoping to be there for f'n'c lunch and the Reminiscence Centre visit afterwards. Have looked up prices/times of trains and am sure I can make them both
, I just have to get up a little earlier than usual! And doesn't matter what time I get home, I'm old enough to stay out now

Go into Waterloo, walk over the bridge to Waterloo east.
from there its a 14 min train journey to Lewisham no changes required.
3 mins walk from platform to seat in shop, (you can almost see it) and an easy one too
Or Waterloo East to Blackheath, 17min journey and its directly opposite the age exchange centre
Sparrer:T thats 2 newbies coming now.
Will be great to meet you0
