Go into Waterloo, walk over the bridge to Waterloo east.
from there its a 14 min train journey to Lewisham no changes required.
3 mins walk from platform to seat in shop, (you can almost see it) and an easy one too

Or Waterloo East to Blackheath, 17min journey and its directly opposite the age exchange centre

Oh No! I thought I was good for the 13th but am not :(
I'm babysitting the night of the 12th, then next day taking my grandson to his birthday party in Woolwich.
It's his 3rd b/day on 17th but party is on the Saturday before.
I'm up for fish & chips this Friday lunchtime if Caterina is watching this today???
If not will take a trip myself I think. It really is the best fish & chips and great price.

    BUMP!

Are we going to wear pins, since there might be new people who do not know who we are?

Sparrer I am delighted to hear that you are coming down, I am really looking forward to meeting you!

Mardatha, I am sorry too that also on this occasion we will not meet, but I hope that you can come to London one day and grace our meet with your presence! Also, make sure that another Scottish meet is organised in Spring next year and I shall certainly try to make it!

LilacLillie, sorry you cannot make the meet, there will be plenty others, don't worry! Re. fish and chips I cannot do Friday but can do tomorrow (Weds) if you read this please give me a call, or I shall give you a call tomorrow morning x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Brilliant, Tealady, of course you can! The more the merrier! Please wear a visible safety pin (on coat lapel or hat) so we know who is who! Looking forward to meeting you!

Caterina, I'm at craft class tomorrow. If you move on to a pub after 4pm I can probably make it?

Thank you Caterina and annie, I'm so looking forward to meeting you too. And now Tealady is coming as well, it's quite exciting, isn't it? I'll sport a safety pin, but was just thinking, how much fun it would be if we were all brave enough to have purple fringes ;). It'd certainly turn some heads, and I've not been able to do that in years :rotfl:

    Hi All,
I lurk on this thread, but also post on an offshoot rodent-like place (but under a different user-name) sorry to make things so complicated! I would love to join you all. Can I come please?

Sparrer, if you cannot bear the idea of having a purple fringe, we should do like your Red Hat ladies and at least dress all in purple, with a red hat - we would certainly recognise each other then!

Minihauk - I have a sneaky suspicion that I know who you are in your other incarnation! It will be great to see you! Remember to wear the pin, or have a purple fringe!

Thinking about it, I don't really need a pin, do I? You guys can recognise me from the fringe! LOL
