Hi Caterina I will definitely be coming to the Blackheath bit as I am at Uni until 12.00 then will buzz up the M2 afterwards.I am looking forward to seeing Blackheath again as I went to school there back in the late 1940s early 50s.

Excellent, Jackie, looking forward to seeing you again. You might meet another woman there (who is a regular volunteer at the Reminiscence Centre) who also has lived in Blackheath all her life. I told her about you and she is curious to meet you, she told me that if she can she will come along.

The past few days have been so hectic I've only just realised it's 8 days til the meet
. Tomorrows chore is to check the train times - don't want to be late for f'n'c. The thought of getting myself down to the city and getting (lost) on the tube is quite exciting for a yokel who lives in the sticks, as my DB keeps telling me. I've booked a hair cut for Tuesday so I won't look too much like a scarecrow, don't want to let the side down

Ah Icey, sorry about that, in the end I changed it but never had the opportunity to go away as I had wanted (because of having to saving money after resigning from my job). There will be other opportunities to meet and have fish and chips again, don't worry!Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
