STOP PRESS - EVENT CANCELLED (MOVED TO FOLLOWING WEEKEND)
I might not be in London on 6th November after all, as I have been planning a short break and just discovered that the hostel in the place I am planning to visit for a break closes after the weekend of 6/7 November.
I think it is better to cancel the event and move it to the next weekend, Saturday 13th November, same programme, same times.
Sorry for this delay but I would rather let you know as soon as possible just in case I cannot make it, rather than leave it to the last moment!Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

OK have checked with hubby and we doing something Saturday evening for my birthday, so day is fine, but not early please, its my birthday on Friday and whilst I rarely drink, I shall be opening a bottle of plonk

The idea is to meet in Lewisham around 12 noon to have fish and chips and then catch a bus to Blackheath (108, 89, 54 and 360 all go there) and wait for any afternoon latecomer at the Reminiscence centre,from 2-ish pm. However the Reminiscence centre closes at 4pm so if everybody wants we can then decamp to the local pub across the road - see how it goes.Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Hopefully I shall be o.k. for the 13th Novemberand I'll be going to Blackheath as its easier for me to get to off the M2.So I maybe there a bit earlier as I finish Uni at 12.00 so by the time I get to Blackheath I shall probably have my lunch there and see you all when you arrive .0
