I understand, Reverbe, the only reasons I put Saturday again is because most people could make Saturday and not Sunday and also because the cafe is closed on Sunday. I keep asking people to add ideas for alternative meetings and hope that someone will come up with somewhere nice and easy to reach for all.

Where would it be best for you to meet? I am sure that at some point in the future we can arrange to meet in your neck of the woods! After all, I have trekked it all the way to Bristol and some people have crossed London to go to meets, some of us have even made it into Yorkshire and Blackpool!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Bumpsydaisy!

Anyone who has not considered coming along because they are a bit shy, please ask the others who have attended, everybody is welcome, it would be great to see new faces!

I would love to come!! After lurking and reading so many interesting and helpful posts I would really enjoy the people behind the usernames, however I am busy on the 17th with a meet up from another board I frequent :(

Next time I am sure I can make it. I live in London and Blackheath is easy to get to. I've moved house since choosing the username 'EastMidsGal' :D

EastMidsGal, it will be great to meet you in future and you will be made very welcome at the next meet, be sure of that! Sorry you cannot make this one but I hope that the summer, predicted to be very warm, will see us all have a nice picnic in one of the Royal Parks!

Have fun with the other board meet and see you in the future!

Hi Caterina, I would have loved to have been there but I am off on my annual week's spring holiday with my friend from Dartford.
LilacLillie met her when we bumped into each other the other week at the Ideal Home Exhibition.
We are going to Shipton-under-Wychwood in the Cotswolds this year.I am hoping the sun may appear by then I do hope you all have a great afternoon and look forward to coming at some point in the future as I am looking forward to seeing the Age-Exchange in Blackheath as I spent a great deal of my earlier life there back in the 1950s, and went to school at All Saints on the heath.
    See you again I hope
Cheers to all who get there

    Hi JackieO,

Have a lovely time with your friend, LilacLillie told me she met you and her, what a lovely coincidence!

See you on another occasion hopefully!

Just a thought, does anyone going next Saturday want any carrot or tomato seeds? I have way too many, also have a few sweet pepper, chili pepper and tomato plants spare too.

What a good idea Annie, I shall also bring some seeds and we can do seed swaps! I'd love tomato plants if you have too many! Thanks x

Also I might have a few books and magazines to swap and any of the books we do not want we can donate to the centre, they will be pleased as they do sell second hand books for fundraising.

Can't wait, see you all on the day!

Icy...hope your knee op is as painless as poss, and I still can't make bread like yours, what breadmaker do you have?

    Hey Everyone,

Hope you all have a lovely meetup on Saturday, I'll be thinking of you when I'm on the sofa with my remote control :o

Annie, do you use milk powder? LilacLillie had problems with her bread until IOIWE and I mentioned we use milk powder in our bread - 2 tablespoons. The breakmaker is a kidnapped Panasonic, perhaps the fact that it's kidnapped makes the bread nicer, like stolen food tastes better and has no calories :rotfl:

Have a great time and let me know of any gossip!
